  1. general rule of thumb the more you pay the better they work-anything under ?100 worth won't do anything you can't already do with hot water and a little bit of elbow grease-also cheaper ones prone to breaking in soft water areas like ED.
  2. As someone who can't easily walk long distances-or at speed- I'm all in favour of a couple more crossings. I don't think this is something that will cause too much hassle to the able bodied or young fit or childless-and in the meantime old folk and people with health problems/kids/just bloody heavy shopping bags will appreciate it-I should also say I'm a driver too-and really don't mind it taking a few seconds/minutes more to get from one end of LL to the other.
  3. I've had a few bin thefts over the years(always replaced within days of me contacting Southwark Council)-mainly the recycling boxes-which I guess were handy for storage-but I too wonder who steals wheelie bins?


    Jeremy- you might be in the situation I was in a few months back-council replaced my bin as requested-but it got nicked before I even got home form work!-wouldn't have known except my neighbour tipped me off.
