Planning application to build a house in a back yard on Goodrich Rd,could set a bit of a worrying precedent for a lot of streets in ED if it gets through- it only takes one to get planning for more to get passed, the idea that anyone could build another house in the relatively small back yard of a terraced house seems a bit mental... planning application

general rule of thumb the more you pay the better they work-anything under ?100 worth won't do anything you can't already do with hot water and a little bit of elbow grease-also cheaper ones prone to breaking in soft water areas like ED.

As someone who can't easily walk long distances-or at speed- I'm all in favour of a couple more crossings. I don't think this is something that will cause too much hassle to the able bodied or young fit or childless-and in the meantime old folk and people with health problems/kids/just bloody heavy shopping bags will appreciate it-I should also say I'm a driver too-and really don't mind it taking a few seconds/minutes more to get from one end of LL to the other.

I've had a few bin thefts over the years(always replaced within days of me contacting Southwark Council)-mainly the recycling boxes-which I guess were handy for storage-but I too wonder who steals wheelie bins? Jeremy- you might be in the situation I was in a few months back-council replaced my bin as requested-but it got nicked before I even got home form work!-wouldn't have known except my neighbour tipped me off.

Being close to the Mag is a big bonus-best pub in ED in my opinion.
