I emailed the Headmaster this morning and have just received the following response:

"Thank you for writing. I respect your opinion on the fur trade generally and your concerns about the presence of a stall selling fur products at the upcoming Christmas Fair. Phillipa London has offered to withdraw from the Christmas Fair and we have accepted this."

Having been repeatedly told that the 'mast was going to be fixed' by GiffGaff/02 for months, I finally made the switch to EE and I am so much happier. Can finally make phone calls from the comfort of my own home! (Telegraph Hill)

Not entirely sure, have just been advised by Giff Gaff, 02 and other people experiencing problems in the area! I think it was all planned due to a building renovation.

There is a mast down in the area (02 I believe but think that a lot of companies piggyback off others?, which isn't due to be fixed until October 3rd!

I guess if it was your profession and you did this every day, you'd become quite the expert. It's the owners I see walking their dogs, on their phones or too far ahead and not concentrating on what their dogs are doing that's the problem!

I agree that there are some dog walkers in question that don't give a good name for other dog walkers, but punishing them all seems a bit extreme, especially when they are actually great at what they do!

Not strictly East Dulwich, but Peckham Rye- from a distance just watched a chocolate lab do a poo in the middle of the fenced half of the rye, and the owner (a 50ish year old male with his daughter in school uniform) walk towards it very slowly and make a very half hearted and unsuccessful attempt to look for it and then walk off. I ran after him to let him know that his dog had done a poo and handed him a poo bag, telling him that he needed to be more of a responsible dog owner and he was giving the rest of us a bad name! I was greeted with ?I know but I couldn?t find it, show me where it is!?, when I told him that it was his responsibility to look for it himself he answered ?if you?re not going to show me that?s not very good then?... unbelievable.

If you are this man and you are reading this, I have a picture of both you and your dog, the dogs poo that I found after looking for no longer than a couple of minutes and it bagged up before I popped it in the bin!

Great range of choice for vegetarians/vegans too.......

Engevita Yeast Flakes have been our saviour since going vegan. They're cheesy in flavour and high in Vitamin B12 - great in homemade pesto's and mac & cheese!

I believe that some Car Wash places clean rugs? The Car Wash on Evelina Road always has a different selection of rugs hung over the railings each day, so perhaps worth asking there!

Any idea when it will be opening?
