Is Magic Moments on this week or next?
Ruby-shoes replied to Ruby-shoes's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Oh thank you for that. Sometimes they do open during the holidays and we didn't want to miss out. We love it too -
Hello, just wondering if Magic Moments is closed throughout the Easter holidays, and if so when are they back please? We missed the last couple of weeks so have kind of lost track. Thank you, T

I'd really like to recommend Chrissie too. I've been to see her at Goose Green a few times with migraines, which she has dealt with effectively through massage and acupuncture. I've gone in feeling terrible and left feeling brilliant and about 6kg lighter! Best massages I've had in years. She really knows what she is doing.

Our boy (nearly 2.5) had this problem too. We have found that three apricots a day after a meal has solved it. He loves them, we call them his sweeties. Make sure the apricots are unsulphured and preferably organic. We use crazy jacks, which are partially rehydrated.

Australian Passport Photos...where?
Ruby-shoes replied to Pam50's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I shot the sheriff are brilliant. We have been three times now, and they are familiar with awkward international rules and all set up for babies and toddlers, and you get a keyring too. I went to snappy snaps in sydenham when wee boy was a babe and walked out because it was so dirty. -
do i need ear defenders for 9 mo for olympics?
Ruby-shoes replied to Convex's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I would say absolutely definitely take ear defenders. We went to the athletics and it was deafening at times. We left early as our boy wouldn't wear the ear defenders for long. Babies have very sensitive hearing which can be permanently damaged. My baby brother's hearing was damaged when he was young, almost certainly by my loud music, which being a teenager I was always cranking up. You don't want to have to live with that. -
Help! 16 month old has leapt out of his cot
Ruby-shoes replied to Ruby-shoes's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hello, thank you all for your advice. He does sleep in a grobag, bought in the hope that it would keep him in the cot longer, but he soon figured out how to unzip it himself. Wasn't keen on side rails as he'd most likely try to jump over them. So he has been bedding down on the floor and our new futon is coming tomorrow. Fingers crossed he will like it, we haven't had much sleep since Saturday... -
Any advice appreciated. He wasn't hurt because I knew it would happen sooner rather than later and made sure he had a soft landing. We will have to dismantle the cot this afternoon, but surely he is too small for even a toddler bed. And he rolls around so much in his sleep. A mattress on the floor? A futon? what do other people do? And how on earth to contain him in his room? He is now trying to vault the stairgates...
