Nursery, creche or childminder recommendations?
Kirsty79 replied to alimc's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi A My daughter goes to First Steps Montessori in Upland Road. She has been there for nearly two years and we really love it, there is friendly, warm and calm atmosphere. The educational side is also great and they have a low staff turnover which is always a good sign. They have been very supportive particularly during my daughter's settling in period. My youngest son is already on the waiting list for next year. I highly recommend it. I hope this helps and good luck in finding a suitable carer for your little one. -
If still of any help, both my children went to First Steps Montessori Nursery on Upland Road and over a period of 4 years in all, we had a fantastic experience. Staff is experienced, friendly and very caring towards the children in their care. The education part of it was also very good, apart from the Montessori approach they implement the national curriculum, have French, Drama, Yoga, sports sessions and lots of outings. We loved it and would recommended to anyone. Good luck

Both my children went to First Steps Montessori Nursery. It is a lovely setting with friendly and experienced staff, we had a good experience and would recommended it to anybody. It's been 7 months since we left from there and my children still talk about First Steps, their staff and the fun they used to have there. I think they take children from 18 months but take into consideration the waiting lists as they seem to be looong in the East Dulwich Nurseries. I heard Nellys is also a good nursery. Good luck Kirsty
