Well you can say goodbye to William Rose Butchers and the East Dulwich Deli for a kick off if either of these open on Lordship Lane. As well as all the other independent grocers. Personally I think the local pubs are rubbish and overpriced and we need a Witherspoons. There are not nearly enough shopping options for mobile phones so we need lots of mobile phone shops. Frankly it's completely backwards and culturally elite that there's no Mcdonalds on Lordship Lane. Maybe a subway or Primark, too. Then Lordship lane can look *exactly* like every other high street in England. Or, if we're going to be snobs, we can only allow 'aspirational' chains and make sure that East Dulwich *really* turns into a little Kensington.
