Does any one on here have a contact that works in Building control? Every time I ring the numbers on the council website it either rings out or I get a rather un-helpful and slow response. I have a general question I need answers on but it is holding up a house sale. I know its cheeky, but any help would be fantastic!!!

I have been looking at buying at flat on Rye Hill Park, which seems to be a very quite cul de sac running off the North side of Peckham Rye. Does anyone here know this part of Nunhead (or Peckham)? Does it generally feel safe? Has anyone ever experienced any trouble here? The road is boxed in with several estates and high rises, but when ever I have been there it appears to be very quiet. Any help highly appreciated!
