We were not impressed by Gloria - long story, but loved Margaret at the Cattery. Definitely got to visit before to check its the right place for your cat, but I'd recommend it 100%

Roofer needed for a FLAT roof ASAP please
Nickw065a replied to KateWalton's topic in Request a Tradesperson
We had an excellent roofer called Nexi 07760522210. Solved a roofing problem that nobody else could, worked in driving rain and was always polite and punctual. -
Hello. Can anyone advise how much a window cleaner should charge to clean the front and back windows of a two storey house on the outside only? I've seen people advertise that they charge ?70+ just for the front!! I used to pay ?10 until about eighteen months ago when the window cleaner moved house. Thanks

Thanks all. Oh, dear, dreadful name and as overpriced as Battersea and not as nice to boot!

Hello Does anyone know of a reasonably priced pottery cafe for a party for 11 year olds in the area? The one in Battersea seems very expensive and not totally geared to pre-teens, more paint-a -dinosaur, which she's grown out of. I tried to contact All Fired Up in E Dulwich, but no contact number on website, and my email enquiry has had no response. Thanks

All the instructors at KISS driving school are very good. My son had Nazia and she helped him pass first time - she is very thorough, patient and friendly.

Roofer recommendation needed to replace a flat roof...
Nickw065a replied to Nickw065a's topic in Request a Tradesperson
I've had few replies from roofers. Looking for a recommendation - has anyone used a good roofer recently that they could recommend? -
I'm looking for a recommendation of a good professional roofer or roofing company for a job in Herne Hill. We need to replace the flat roof on our kitchen extension. It's about 5 meter square and has a skylight in it (that I'd like to keep. It pools water at the moment so the new roof needs to have a steeper incline built in so that it drains properly. Good quality recommendations hugely appreciated.

Im looking for a recommendation for our cat to be cared for over the summer. The person she has been cared for on the last two occasions was a disaster - our poor cat came home infested with fleas and dangerously ill. That was a very expensive vets bill and a lot of misery for the cat and us. Ive seen a few good reviews for cat sitters closely followed by people saying that the cat sitters have abused the agreement by using the washing machine etc, whilst the resident has been away. So...any genuinely brilliant catteries that are not overcrowded and disease ridden out there?

NOT Dulwich Tandoori - booked a table for tonight and they only just called to cancel - no reason or apology. Last time I was there they were inattentive and had double booked others too.

Does anyone have a recommendation for cat-sitting or cattery for August in SE24? The nearest one in Croxted Rd one is booked up and CozyCats haven't got back to me. We don't have a cat flap so two visits a day from a cat-sitter seems expensive, however our cat is easily carsick, so becomes quite distressed even on a short journey to the vet's. Any ideas, please? Thanks
