  1. Oooh... Are we saying this is better than the ergo??? Any excuse for another sling no?
  2. Thanks for the advice... Looking forward settling him in!
  3. Hi there, My son has just got a place in year 4 so will be starting tomorrow. I'm going to get the sweatshirt and polo shirt from the school today but just wondering about how strict the grey trouser bit is... obviously they need to be grey but do they need to be specifically smart one? we have several grey pairs but they're possibly a bit casual (cargo style). Will this be a problem? and what of shoes? black trainers or a black converse or smart school shoes? There wasn't a school uniform at his last school so I'm new to this! Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
  4. Hi there, We're moving to ED on Friday (if I manage to actually pack before then!) and I have a seven year old who I need to find a school for. We're looking at Goose Green tomorrow which I know has just got a great OFSTED. I'm just wondering what it's like in the upper years. My son's currently in year three. Any feedback would be very welcome. Thank you!
  5. Hi there, Can anyone tell me if there's a drop in football class on a Sunday (or Saturday) morning either in Dulwich park or Peckham rye? We're moving to the area soon and thought it'd be a good way to ease the transition for my 7yr old boy. Any information gratefully received. Thank you!
  6. Wow... I had sort of thought the catchment for secondary would be slightly larger and fractionally easier than primary and that I'd probably be in catchment for Harris boys! clearly I need to go back to the drawing board... not sure which to focus on. My boys age gap is just too big to get sibling place so i'm a bit stuck... arrrgghhh! it's all too much... (I can't believe they only took one of your twins heber jumble queen... thats an outrage!)
  7. Hi there, Sorry if this all been asked before... I had a look through old threads but couldn't find what I was looking for! We're moving to East Dulwich and have seen a really nice house on Ashbourne Grove but I have a 7 year old who obviously needs a school (going into year 4 in spetember) and a 1 year old who will, at some point, also need educating. I'm gathering the Heber Primary is a current favourite but I can't find details on how near I would need to be and whether Ashbourne Grove is too far to be likely of getting a place. Has anyone moved to the area and found it quick to get a place or does anyone know where I can find details of the catchment area from previous years? Any school information welcome and as I said... sorry for bringing up such familiar subject!
