I just wish to commend Lisa Anderson for the first night of Peckhamburger The cafe Andersons makes living near Bellenden Road such a pleasure. We have spent many happy and delicious hours there! So we were thrilled to hear her and her son were opening in the evenings under the guise 'Peckhamburger'. We couldn't get a babysitter for our 2 under 2 tonight. But we really wanted to try it out on its first night this evening - so we were delighted it did takeaway. And I just want to urge everyone here to try it as it was really very delicious indeed! The beef pattie was perfectly cooked! Such a great idea!

I am interested in selling some wares at a local boot sale. I believe the Dulwich Hamlets sale is off due to works at the club. So I had tried to contact organisers of the Sydenham boot sale but have not heard from them. Does anyone know if it is on? And if so do they have a contact for the organiser? Thanks!

Saied has completed a redesign of our garden in Peckham. He started the project on the day he committed to and we were very impressed with the project undertaken. Saied cleared the garden of rubble, old trees, a dead (massive) tree trunk. Once the clearing was done he has laid a perfect (cricket pitch style) new lawn for us. It is fantastically green and looks very luscious! HE has also planted some shrubs we chose and put in a new privet hedge. All in all the garden is now a wonderful place to hang out thanks to Saied. He was very amicable to have around, especially good with children. His son helped me too and was also great. We were very impressed by what a perfectionist Saied was - since the original turf turned up and he wasn't happy with the quality and sent it back. So we got a better lawn in the end. We hope to have a long working relationship with Siaed. His son has even promised to come back and help us with an uneven path - these are the things that really make the Eco Gardening company stand out - helpfulness, thoroughness and friendliness. Top marks from us!
