  2. Hi - Does anyone have experience with using Skype video calls with Macbook Air? I can't get the camera to work. Very frustrating.thanks! sofie
  3. Give a training session with Giulio a go and you will agree with all thats been said so far....I started my training with him in January and the results are great - my fitness has increased lots, I feel stronger and more toned. He pushes and challenges but keeps things safe, contantly watching form and quality. I personally like the fact that he also is a qualified pilates instructor which makes his method of personal training rather unique. Try and you won't look back.
  4. hey Ronan! Great stuff! Since my post a few weeks ago we tried Lancing (love the spot although on the day we went I was overpowered on my 7 and had to sit on the beach and watch others having fun) and went to Greatstone the past weekend which I love in NE wind...We haven't tried Poole yet but probably will at some point. Sunday for the weekend is not looking bad, I think forecast is calling for S wind so I think it'll be Lancing for us...How about I PM you if we are going and we can take it from there? Sofie
  5. hey e-dealer - thats landboarding. Blackheath is full with landboarders on windy days. When kitesurfing you use water instead of land.

  7. Thanks for the tip. We probably off to Camber as well this WE.Just checked the forecast - its early to say for sure but its looking good for the weekend! It'll be my first U.K. session of the season. Can't wait!!
  8. I am (fairly) new to it and looking for spots in the U.K. to go to on windy weekends. Have so far tried Camber Sands and Greatstone. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  9. My 6 New Zealand flax all have lots of white stuff on the bottom root side of the plant and inside the leaves - mainly towards the bottom. I've noticed quite a few grey and white bugs as well, teeny and bigger ones. I'm suspecting mealy bug! The plants are in pots and get plenty of daylight. There are lots of remedies mentioned on the web - has anyone had this problem and managed to solve it? Thanks!!
  10. its practically full moon ladies...I had a bad one too...you could try listening to a CD or track which helps to relax the mind. I find that the ultimate deep sleep recorded by a hypnotherapist does wonders. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Deep-Sleep-Lorraine-Ireland/dp/0954971914.

  15. it feels awkward asking this questions but how much money do people usually spend on a wedding gift???? where i'm from (not the uk) we spend money accordingly to how well we know the bride and/or groom. we have to go to my husbands' cousin's wedding who we see about once yearly (when my in laws are in town). i was planning on spending ?75 but hubbie heard from english collegues (hubie is not british either)that ?150 seems standard for family. i nearly fell off my chair.
