Our local baking group will be holding our festive meet on Thursday 1st December. We'll be meeting in The Clockhouse pub on Peckham Rye at 730pm. It's totally free, just bring a bake to share with others, sweet or savoury. Come along and meet a group of like minded bakers. Hello. We've posted in the What's On section, but not sure if many people will come across it there so (at the risk of duplicating) we just wanted to let you know about the Band of Bakers in case there are any budding bakers who fancy joining us... Band of Bakers is a chance for people in South East London who love baking to get together and share their latest creations. The idea is simple: we all bake something, bring it along and share what we have baked with each other over a few drinks. It is not a competition, just a way for bakers from the local area to get together, share ideas and their love of baking, meet people and eat as much as possible! Following on from the success of our first event last week, our next event will be on Tuesday 26 June 2012 (7.30pm to 9.30pm) at Bambuni - a deli & coffee shop on Evelina Road in Nunhead - and the theme is 'Midsummmer'.
