Trump has notified Congress of his intention to retaliate, required by law, through Twitter.
That is not what twitter is for surely.

Trump threatening to attack Cultural sites - what does that mean - does he mean historic sites, Mosques what ? -
52 sites "important to Iranian culture" - so they are culturally important to Iran but not to the world in general ?
Tempting to try and list them.
-
Raab has a fine tightrope to walk but he seems to have gone all in for Trump now (I think someone from the US has got in touch)
I can only assume from his comments that we would also have killed the guy if we had the opportunity, yes ?

On Raab what you say is exactly the opposite of what this Oxford Politics lecturer and former attache says LOL :)
On James Abbott Thompson he's quite obviously and sadly mentally ill and if they can't care for him in the community they need something akin to the old hospitals (I worked in one near Swansea as IT staff in the early 90s and there were 100s of people that had been there years resident - wonder where they are now). I guess he'll be found incapable of pleading.

Apparently a Bakery in SE16

I reported someone on twitter today for replying with an "p*do" type comment to Lineker.
No doubt Gary can look after himself but it's annoying. Twitter sometimes impose a short term ban but they also do for innocuous comments that fall foul of their ban bots (I got 12 hours for warning Boris leaving the tea bag in his cup could be dangerous - apparently it was wishing harm on him)

Neither the Police nor the Banks blame victims.
If you have money/cards stolen for instance it would be very easy for them to blame you for being alone in a pub you don't know (it's happened) - they do refer you to victim support :)

The world is in danger, Boris is on holiday so who do all weary eyes turn to .. Dominic Raab.

It's a pity that the default position to people who approach you has to be mistrust rather than assuming they are being friendly or honest. Over the years I have learnt to get rid of them sooner rather than try and worm your way out of the situation politely.

Or had seen someone else enter the code and loitered around. These thieves are getting less opportunistic and more devious.

If it's the one I found - you have to be a little greedy to fall for the scam. I once brought fake gold on oxford street in 1983 - that was the last money for nothing scam I bothered with.
I suppose that's the nature of scams.

The Peckham Rye one will become a similar business I guess - maybe a coffee house or bar - it's prime position.
The ED one maybe a different case.
-
They have been known to dump them in entrance halls (Amazon worst for that).
Does your block have a facebook group (or email group) - they're useful sometimes.
-
Do they have "offer rates" for a year to attract businesses in or are they actually continually rising (possibly due to gentrification in Peckham especially as the station is being changed).
I suppose there is an option to move to somewhere more up and coming if you're a small business - but it's not going to help you gain a local following.
-
Not understood why an extra holiday couldn't have been given, or am I greedy :)

They were chucking young people out at 18 so the parent could be downsized though IIRC, yet young people are living with parents until 30 in lots of cases where the parent owns.
I also remember looking around for a flat for my mother (who owned her house) with her in the early 2000s and there was nothing she would have been happy in - if it suited in one way there was something else where it didn't or the cost was so close to her house she wouldn't gain so she stayed in the 4 bedroom house.

I just realised that since Cameron we don't just get NY Honours we get a Resignation Honours list too.
-
It's not just IDS - although he's a good example of someone who doesn't deserve a knighthood. It's all politicians who seem to get an Honour for basically doing their day job. Honours should be for going beyond that.
Honours should not be used as bribes either

Is this in to replace the Peckham site already or have I mixed up the addresses (they seem the same)
-
The right wing are still around - they certainly hijacked this Sky Breaking Story.

At least Southwark don't seem to allow wrap advertising around our flats :)

I once got really really annoyed by a deep rumbling sound vibrating the house. I worked out eventually it was the dog we had at the time snoring.
Once I knew I put up with him.

I meant them both (trg on the left and erg on the right)
But could have written that better lol - early wine :)

That's the sort of targets I'd expect - and not breaking any international law.
Attacking the Iranian equivilent of Stonehenge would be it seems.
