Another Recommendation for Nico the Plumber. Cleared a bathroom basin at our home in Honor Oak. He also (he is inquisitive) traced what was causing the problem (likely a collapsed soakaway). Really nice guy. Thoroughly recommended.

The flush pipe on our toilet was leaking. We had previously had Dyno Rod out (under the British Gas plumbing cover) twice who had supposedly fixed it. It started spurting again and we realised that we needed a proper plumber. We got Paul Harrison's name from this forum. He immediately recognised that the flush pipe was too short and so brought the cistern itself forward off the wall (concealed system). The Dyno Rod guys had simply pushed the flush pipe back into the toilet without properly fixing it. Paul sorted the problem out in about 25 minutes. If anyone is in need of a plumber I would recommend Paul Harrison on +44 7864 042208. He is also recommended by others on this forum.

I am reluctant to recommend Helen and Steve as it means that when we want them, someone else has them. They are brilliant.

Try Babur Brasserie - as good as Zaika/Cinnamon club. Not your average Indian. Really good and different. Le Querce for the best Sardinian food i have tasted. Mamma dough is very similar to Franco Manca, which you already have on Lordship lane -
We used David from Norwood Roofing for replacing old gutters at the front of our property in Honor Oak where we have a 3 storey house. The gutters were not large enough to carry all of the rain off quite a large pitch roof and in times of downpour were struggling to cope. Consequently with the build up of sludge they were regularly overflowing, causing. The guys did a great job replacing the gutters and repointing the moss damaged brickwork where the overflowing gutters had caused damp. They also reset the chimneys while they were up there and replaced a few broken tiles. Nice guys ? very reliable Tested in the rain and we have no issues so far. But to be honest we haven?t yet had a deluge so let?s see. Would recommend David and the firm though.

Like someone else on this forum we would have no hesitation in recommending Joe Knight at kndesigns. Great architect and a nice bloke also. He did the plans for our kitchen which involved a lot of steel beams and knocking down load bearing walls. -
