Hi there, We are looking for a builder/carpenter on a day rate to help us out with some works as part of an ongoing renovation project to our home. The work involves: - building a couple of stud walls - putting in some door liners - laying a ply floor (possibly lifting up the old boards and de-nailing first). We are renovating our house and need an extra hand to help my husband to do some works. We are looking for a general labourer to help with jobs including pulling down ceilings, taking plaster off walls, removing cornice, picture rail and skirting as well as stripping paint from window sills and the fascia board (weather dependant). It is not clean work but is done a lot faster with two working at it. We need someone for Saturday 21 September and would be willing to pay ?8 an hour.
