  1. https://www.instagram.com/dream_home_builder/ https://www.dreamhomebuilder.co.uk Give Leandro a call, his details are above. He recently renovated our bathroom.and we are very happy with the work.We didn't have any microcement but he specialises in it and has done some big kitchen and bathroom projects with it recently. Let him know that Ian recommended him.
  2. Sadly this wasn't Max but thanks again to everyone for continuing to keep an eye out and for sharing any pics/messages etc.
  3. Hi nightmonkey, Our black cat, Max, went missing on Sunday. He's quite a small black cat, no collar but is neutered and microchipped. I've attached a picture - does the cat you've seen look like him? We live on Cheltenham Rd, SE15, so quite a way from Dulwich Village but we'd be grateful if you can check and let us know. Thanks.
  4. George / Michelle, Apologies for the delay in responding to you both on this post. I'm afraid to say the cat we found wasn't Panther or Bonnie. We did check all lost cat photos and descriptions on the forum just in case. We took the cat to the vet to see is he was micro chipped - he wasn't. They also confirmed that he was an unneutered male - we didn't need the expertise of the vet for that though! For anyone interested in what happened to this little scamp; he had been visiting us for about 2-3 weeks, coming back with our black cat at food o clock every evening. We were feeding him as the little scamp was crying for food (and hoovering down at a rate of knots) - we later found out that we weren't the only cat owners on the street feeding him either! He was also sleeping in our porch at night. Anyway, he was clearly a stray, wasn't neutered and wasn't chipped and whilst our cat seemed to tolerate him in the beginning, they quickly fell out and so we needed to do something about it - we couldn't keep him. As nobody claimed him during this time, we took him to Battersea Cats Home (where we got our cat from). They gladly took him in, cleaned him up and he was off to a new loving home within a week.
  5. Thanks hp but doesn't look quite the same. I will upload a pic as soon as I've figured out how.
  6. Anyone missing a small, very vocal all black cat in the cheltenham road area.
  7. Another recommendation for John. He has just completed replastering our large hallway and we're delighted with the results. It's an old Victorian property where none of the walls or ceilings are level but all look perfectly flat now. John was thorough, tidy and reasonsonably priced. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others. We hired him on the basis of these positive comments on the forum and we weren't disappointed.
  8. Hi Does anyone know of anywhere or anyone who would be able to cut 6 450x450 32mm patio slabs in half for me please? Thanks
  9. Has anyone had one installed recently and if so, would you recommend it? An idea of the installation cost would also be really helpful if anyone can share this. Thanks!
  10. http://www.distrikthotel.com/ Really recommend this place - stayed there for 4 nights last summer. Really good/clean rooms, great location for Time sq too, only about a 5 min walk away.
  11. I do think that Gatland is spoilt for choice in a number of positions and will have a number of options who can make an impact from the bench. I've been impressed with players like Maitland, Vunipola who not many people were talking about when selection was announced. In short, there is plenty of strength in depth and seem to be 'geling' well no matter who is selected where - granted the quality of opposition played so far will not be the level as the Australian national team. I'm confident of a 3-0 win for the lions. My first choice XV based on games so far would be; Adam Jones Richard Hibbard Mako Vunipola Paul O'Connell Alun Wyn Jones Sean O'Brien Justin Tipuric/Sam Warburton Toby Faletau Mike Phillips Jonathan Sexton George North Jamie Roberts BOD Alex Cuthbert Leigh Halfpenny
  12. I can see Hibbard and Best challenging for the no.2 jersey but Youngs has proven recently that his throwing in the line out is very poor. Lions will definitely need to make use of the ability of O'Connell and Alun Wyn in the line out
  13. As a relatively new member to the EDF and until now more of an observer than a contributor to the forum, might I add a view without being scorned too much by the indigenous inhabitants?! As far as I can see there have been some valid points made by all but also some rather outrageous ones too based on one off scenarios. My experience as both a driver and cyclist, as well as pedestrian is that there are as many badly behaved cyclists as there are motorists. The fact that there seems to be more incidents now than previously probably has a lot to do with there being more of both on the roads than there ever has been before (stating the obvious I know). The road system cannot cope (incident free) with that much traffic. As Otta put it; Most cyclists are fine. Some are dicks and dangerous. Most motorists are fine. Some are dicks and dangerous. Or perhaps; Some motorists have a sense of entitlement and prejudice towards cyclists. Most don?t. Some cyclists have a sense of entitlement and prejudice towards motorists. Most don?t. You can?t tar them all with the same brush LadyD. Take those blinkers off.
