  1. Richard did some work for us last year and we have recently used Richard again. As per the post above, I cannot recommend Richard highly enough. The whole process is so smooth, he does a lovely job, when he says he will, for the (very reasonable) price he says, nothing is ever too much trouble, his communication is great and he is a really nice man! If only it was always this easy!
  2. Before you make a decision either way lay something (grey paper/fabric??) across in the line you think you would like and see if it looks better. A small investment to see which you prefer and will clarify it for you. If you are able to look at both options it should clarify it for you... Good luck.
  3. Hmm sorry, I only know about slightly smaller packages, try courier point or parcel 2 go, or else shiply might work? (Shiply marries you up couriers going in your direction and they submit bids, although sometimes they are very high, but if you wait sometimes it comes down massively)
  4. I was thinking of buying the battleships game (probably in a misguided old school effort) ,but I think they would like it. We are also toying with the minecraft lego (know you said about lego already but...)

Am definitely watching the thread closely as it is such a tricky age to buy for.... Smiggle stores have opened in Bromley, not sure if boys will be into it in quite the same way but it is heaven for kids. Lots of reasonably priced stuff. Is an Aussie brand that seems hellbent on worldwide domination but has pretty cool bits.

  5. We were 8 for my eldest but the youngest went straight on after. Tbh is much better than the endless crap apps they were requesting but I have baulked at buying an Xbox 360 just for minecraft (or indeed at all).... I would go for the windows version but then there would be endless arguments over who has the laptop.

I like the idea of lego minecraft. May have to have a look!

Nerf guns are featuring highly in the want list for my 5yr old currently.
