  1. Opening Friday 14th Nov 2014 , daily 10am- 6pm Jeannie Avent Gallery ,14 North Cross Rd ,Dulwich SE22 9EU From the 14th November to 26th November Jeannie Avent Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition of new work by Susan Wadsworth. Susan Wadsworth is an artist with a concern for the environment combined with a love of vivid, and playful, artworks. She uses the everyday debris of our society in imaginative ways, collecting and transforming found objects into formal compositions of three-dimensional pieces. This can include toys, plastic bags, broken calculators, sweet wrappers and much more. She calls this process 'recycollage'. Susan also creates paintings and prints influenced by urban art, such as graffiti and cartoons, as well as by reoccurring natural motifs. She uses a range of media, including hand painted linoprints, collage and mixed media. Susan's creations are invariably exuberant, often colourful, and frequently puckish. This collection will include her bold cut outs that replicate natural patterns, her mixed media paintings, a wide range of 'recycollage' pieces and her omniform, polychromatic, wall hangings. Visit Susan?s website to view some of her work: www.susanwadsworth.co.uk

  3. I can only echo the others on this thread . Des painted the interior of more or less our entire house (as well as some exterior woodwork) in Court Lane , and did a great job . He is indeed a perfectionist , but its worth the extra time and money if you want a good and lasting job .He has initiative and common sense, was a pleasure to have around the house , and also very professional . Highly recommended .( apologies for the delay in getting this recommendation up on the forum ) .
