  1. Hi! My friend and I would love to come too. Can I just ask what is the age range? :)
  2. Def Michael 07956477626. Very patient and easy going.
  3. PippaD - did you spk to the guy? I drove past a few minutes after the accident and it looked bad :( I have been seeing that scooter there every day since that day. I am really glad he is fine and out of the hospital.
  4. I would go with Michael, I passed my exam first time. Had a few driving instructors before Michael and it wasnt a nice experience as they made me feel very nervous behind the wheel. Thanks to Michael I got my confidence back.
  5. Hi! Just want to recommend a plumber if anyone needs one. Called Ade yesterday evening and he came today at 9am. Very nice guy, he fixed my kitchen tap and a pipe under the sink. Would definitely use him again. Ade 07961981944
  6. They normally ask if you want a receipt. If they didn't - you can always go back and ask for one or you can call them and ask for it to be emailed to you.
  7. Cessj - do you mind me asking - who are you talking about when saying 2/3 women with 10 dogs? What park is it? Also - what do you mean by mostly uncontrolled/uncontrollable?
  8. Brennan - any chance you could post a picture after she had a haircut
  9. Brennan - what sort of dog is it and what do you need doing? I think that Dog About Town is pretty professional but I would not send a sensitive dog there.
  10. Green & Blue always use to give boxes to carry the wine...
  11. Wagging tails in South Norwood are brilliant http://www.wtdt.co.uk
  12. I can recommend this place http://www.wtdt.co.uk
  13. Yes, picture would be great :) I know exactly who's dog been pooing just outside my house but there isn't much I can do about it.

Rotties can be great family pets so can be most breeds!
  15. I think that I am ready to write about my bad experience today... As I said before I always take my dogs to John Hankinsons in New Cross and I think that they are just brilliant. My dog Lala got sick the other night, we were up every 30 mins since 1am as she was vomoting and had a diarrhea. From 5 am we were constanty in the garden...At 6 am I called an emergency vet in Beckhenam. I had explained to the nurse that my dog is very poorly and that I would like to bring her. Her answer to that was - take the water bowl away (at that stage she was drinking and vomiting straight away) and wait until your vet clinic is open. I have stupidly listened to her...By the time I took my dog to New Cross 8.30 am) she was just exausted...Ended up on a drip and 7 days in intensive care at the hospital in North London. Luckily she recovered ,but unfortunatly the day after she came back home she got a stomach bloat (gastric torsion) and there was nothing I could do to save her. We rushed to the vet to have her put down, again the one in Beckhenam as it was on Sunday...I am not going to write on here about the amount of pain she was in..., it's just impossible to imagine...But what really shocked me was that as soon as we got to the vet they wanted me to fill up the papers first (!?) and also the vet really struggeled to inject the anesthetic....:( Now I really would like to ask you - does anyone know of an emergency vet that they could recommend?

Agree, I always take my dogs there, shame Matt isn't there anymore but the new guy (not sure what's his name) is also good - I had to take my dog there last week as an emergency as she cut her leg during the morning walk and he did a great job. I had another emergency last Monday, one of my dogs cut her paw while chasing a ball in Brockwell park so I took her to the closest vet which was the Brockwell vet by Herne Hill station and I wouldn't recommend them. They didn't even want to see the dog beacuse I couldn't get hold of the owner to get her permission so I had to register her under my name and then they charged a fortune. I am really greatfull that they helped the dog at the end but next time I will rather drive to my vet.
  19. It's def not the same dog, Nana has been staying with me since March 14th.
  20. Nana is still with me and I am sure lots of people have seen me walking her with my pack in Peckham Rye park. I had a couple of people interested in adopting her but it didn't work out :'( So Nana is still looking for a new home although she feels like my home is her home now. I already have gotten very attached to her and I it will be very difficout for me to let her go but she has to find a new home...I have so many dogs staying with me during the day that I raelly can't have an extra dog, I really wish I could have...So please, if you know of anyone who is thinking of adopting a dog - give them my details. 07971141197 Here some pics of Nana
  21. Eclectic - I am really not a fan of Pedigree... But thank you very much for the offer, we will buy more of James Wellbeloved for her :) I really appreciate the offer tho.
  22. No problem Lisa, thank you for the food :) My flatmates are already getting very attached to Nana...
  23. Just to update you on how Nana (that's her new name) is getting on... On the whole she is a very very sweet and loving girl, she is use to the car and she knows the sofa well :) She already responds to her name, great off the lead, very calm at home, great with the rest of the pack of my dogs. But she needs someone with experience as she likes to be bossy towards some other dogs.I think it's also because she is still a little bit nervous and confused, everything is new to her. So please if you know of anyone who would like to adopt her - let me know. I will not give her to anyone, it has to be a responsible home. Here are the links to the adds, I think it's fine to show her pics now. http://www.lost-doggies.com/modules/myalbum2/photo.php?lid=160 http://www.animalsearchuk.co.uk/view_found_pet.php?id=29736
  24. I have taken her to the vet straight away to check if she has a microchip but there wasn't any. Funny enough she has been spade - I checked her tummy. I also thought that she has might be stolen so going to look on the doglost website now. She is a very lovely girl, pretty well behaved, she is staying with other dogs I am looking after and she is doing great. I would keep her if I could have another dog but at the moment I cant...
