  1. Hi, I am a town planner, I recently got planning permission for a roof terrace in East Dulwich and am working on another in Clapham. The main issues are overlooking neighbouring gardens and windows, and whether you will be overlooked yourself when on the terrace. If this won't happen then permission may well be granted. Happy to discuss further if you send me a PM.
  2. It depends on the reasons for refusal and what if any extra information the Council are asking for. It may be that if you make some minor changes / provide extra info you could put in a new application and get it approved - this is easier than appealing. If you do appeal again it depends on the complexity as to whether you can do it yourself or need help.
  3. Hi Sylvia, I am a town planner, when my clients need drawings I refer them to Ike Obanye who is an architect based in Greenwich. His rates are reasonable and he gets rave reviews. Website is www.iketecture.com
  4. Hello, I just posted this in the business section, looking for someone to take over my local town planning cases whilst I'm on maternity leave. Thought I would mention it here as might suit a current SAHP looking for freelance work: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1156255 Sue
  5. Thanks all! I think what Carbonara outlines is the best way to go, and have talked through it with my accountant. I found a good summary of the options here: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/childcare/smechildcareguide.pdf
  6. Hello, I am a freelancer set up as a ltd company, I am the only employee of the company. I understand that I can run my own childcare voucher scheme, but not sure exactly how. Do any of you do this, and what do you do? Many thanks.
