  1. Can anyone recommend their cleaner please? Looking around but its only cleaners recommending themselves....we have been disappointed by the last few so need a recommendation (PMs only - no direct offers from cleaners).

  3. Another big thumbs up for Daniel at South East Cleaning..we have been running our apartment via AirBNB for the last 3 months and it relies on having the property extra clean (people review the cleanliness after each stay). All of our guests were always very impressed with how clean it was and I felt very comfortable leaving him to it and his standards are very high. He has also gone the extra mile and helped me out when something goes wrong, is always contactable and replies quickly. Thanks Dan!
  4. Hello, I am in need of a regular cleaner at our apartment on Underhill Rd. The apartment is fairly small, 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and small hall way. We rent it our on a short term basis on AirBNB so we require the cleaner to clean the entire apartment as well as change the sheets on both beds and put fresh towels. All clean linen and cleaning products and equipment is provided. The first date will be the 13th October, and would be at least once a week following on from that till the end of 2015. If anyone can advise a cleaner please contact me. Thank you, Tim
  5. Another recommendation for Darren/Castle Plumbing. Darren just finished re-fitting our bathroom from start to finish. Darren removed everything from our old bathroom, fitted new piping, installed new dry wall, installed the bath, tiled walls + floors, installed toilet/basin/shower. We are delighted with our new bathroom. He is very professional and fair, and was always available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking at a new bathroom.
  6. I'll keep an eye on this. I'm a regular commuter to and from work (24 miles per day) however I have just picked up a new road bike so have been going out on the weekends. Looking at joining the Dulwich Paragon when I get a free Saturday however would also be up for rides on the weekends with others. Need to improve my fitness before committing but I'll give you a shout when I feel ready!

  10. Sorry that was a more general comment unrelated to this tragedy.
  11. Very sad indeed. Thoughts to her family. I've been in London for just under 3 years now and have cycled everyday to work since. What really confuses me is people are allowed to cycle without any knowledge of the road code. I have a full drivers license and have driven in London many times. How can people be allowed then to cycle? They don't know what to look out for, blind spots etc. I just don't understand it really and I have a feeling it is the reason for some of these accidents. Please tell me if I am wrong here!
  12. Hi, We are getting married this coming November, and my Finacee and myself would like to get a few dance lessons under our belt for the first dance. We have a few songs in mind, but we need an expert just to give us some tips. The style of dancing would be ballroom-ish/slow waltz. Does anyone have someone they can recomend in the area? Thks, Tim.
  13. Hi, We have a double glazed steel french doors in a bedroom. There is a gap which is letting in a bit of a draft. I've tried to correct it using weather tape but it doesn't solve the problem. Can anyone recomend someone who can come and adjust the door? It is quite old so I think its just a case of adjustment. Cheers, Tim.
  14. Hi All, I'm fairly new to East D and I'm looking at joining a social sports team. I'm fairly sporty, having played cricket, rugby, football, etc. I'm keen to meet some new people so if anyone knows of anything please give me a shout. Cheers, Tim.
