I was standing outside the doctor's surgery last Monday and saw this happen. As a dog owner myself it was really awful to witness an animal in distress but very reassuring to see people helping Flo so quickly and effectively. I hope she is on the mend and that the operation went well.

I second that Nina. It's so refreshingly different an activity to have in a bar. This month's discussion (25th Sep) was about the philosophical issues around Artificial Intelligence. The next event will be about Tragedy/Horror https://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=thinkanddrink+event&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&ibp=htl;events&rciv=evn&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiEoNS9mfTkAhUZTxUIHemhBhwQ5bwDMAB6BAgKEAE#fpstate=tldetail&htidocid=AVqqetbkFNZBM_0cJpA8-A%3D%3D&htivrt=events&sxsrf=ACYBGNTmQEJMmWwKWQ7ziotAlFrpe3ca4g:1569697127802

I just received this email too and had a similar reaction malumbu. I think 38degrees idea is to try and provide a campaigning voice to ensure that "the people's" views are represented and campaigned for. I'm of the view that Brexit is such a bad idea and there's no silver lining of any sort whatsoever to this cloud. I'm tempted to not engage any further with the whole post-brexit debate but that would allow the EU phobics to have their way and continue with their economic, political and social vandalism. Here endeth my rant, for what it's worth.

Especially as he has a text image as documentary evidence. I would also be very interested to know which delightful Bromley establishment is treating its customers in this way. I would boycott it and encourage anyone else to the same. (Looking for my long-lost box of jumbo nappy pins as we speak!) Ruth
