Hello - I just wanted to pass on details for John Thorby of Ebbsfleet Construction Ltd based in Kent, though they will work all over London. I am currently working with John and his team on a 3 storey rear extension in Upper Norwood and I would highly recommend them. I vetted 16 builders (mostly listed on EDF and recommendations through friends) before a colleague recommended John. His costing was very reasonable, he's very friendly, and I had a good gut feeling about him. Now that I am working with him on a sizeable project I can see that he has the client's interest at heart and will check in with me constantly even on the smallest details to ensure everything is done properly and to my requirements. They even moved a nest of Blue Tit babies they found in the bathroom roof and built a bird box for it which shows how conscientious his team are! If you have any questions please drop me a line. Mark installed my new boiler and replaced a radiator last year; it's all running like a dream. He's just been out to service my boiler he is one of a few who will come out on a Saturday if you ever have a problem. He is also very diligent and will make sure you have the correct safety certificates etc. A good bloke, highly recommended.

Based on recommendations on EDF I called Mark Newlove in to initially repair my dying boiler, a Halstead Combi (possibly the worst boiler ever made). He managed to get it going but in the end I decided it was time for a new boiler this week. I am happy to report that Mark and his colleague Richard have now installed a new boiler which is working like a dream; they were prompt and professional, and they are both knowledgeable and conscientious. 3rd Mark Newlove - he came out to see me today on a Saturday at extremely short notice (he was able to be with me within the hour!). I have a terribly unreliable Halstead Combi boiler and had no heating and hot water. Mark was able to diagnose the problem and fix it whilst explaining the issues along the way. Colin of K&O Pest Control finished a job at my house this week, lovely chap and explains everything thoroughly....I think my pesky critter problem was dealt with after about a week of using 6 different poison baits, but Colin kept returning for another 2 weeks to refresh the baits and make sure the job was well and truly resolved, which was very reassuring. Thank you Colin, I feel alot more comfortable walking through my dining room /kitchen at night now without having to jump up on chairs everytime a 4 legged squatter runs past me!
