Morning all, Does anyone have a recommended removal company? (capable of moving the contents of a 2 bed flat to Bristol this Thursday). Thanks, Ben

You know how it is, you move into a new flat. You invite the neighbours round to say hello, and before you've got past the introductions, the boiler makes a noise like its hit an iceberg... Which is about as warm as the flat got last night. We went onto the east dulwich forum this morning and called Niko 07818607583, (lets face it, it's always a bit of a punt) and he had the boiler up and running in less than half an hour, not only that, but he's a nice bloke who explained the whole system to us. When I asked how much a new boiler would be, he talked me out of it, and prepped us on how to nurse this one for another year or so. If you're in a similar spot and looking on the edf for advice, then I would highly recommend him. I thought his cost was very reasonable as well. Especially as he's only just left and it's gone 9pm! We moved house this Saturday and found Joseph on the EDF to help us move. He came recommended, but you never really know what to expect!? I have to say he (and his brother) were superb. They moved us - a sofa, two wardrobes, a few chests of drawers and a double bed up about 4 flights of stairs. He even took our sofa apart to get it into the apartment when it was looking like it wouldn't fit. Just the kind of guys you need, they quietly just got on with it, and come up with solutions when I'd hit the panic button. Apparently he could even take a window out to get the sofa in for a last resort, but we didn't need that (thankfully). I'd certainly recommend then to anyone that needs a man with a van, to just get stuck into a job.
