  1. Thank you- looks exactly what I am looking for. I'll get in touch!
  2. Hello- I'm looking for a recommendation for a clinical psychologist please. I need someone who works with children to see my son (9yrs) for CBT on a private basis. Preferably they will have completed a specific systemic family therapy course and will need to be professionally registered - hcpc, bacp, or bps. Thanks!
  3. Hmmm and what if your plans include padstones that are apparently not a standard size? Aaarghh!!!
  4. Thank you for the replies and PMs. Will make some calls!
  5. Hi, I was just looking for some advice. We have had some building works start and agreed to supply some of the materials. We have managed to order our RSJs, but the architects plans also call for a concrete lintel, padstones and a wooden beam. Can anyone suggest the best place to get these please? Thank you!
  6. Hi, We are looking for recommendations for someone with a Magnet trade account who could also fit our kitchen. Depending on supply time for the kitchen we are looking at install in 4 weeks time. Ideally they will also be able to install a tile floor. Thanks!
  7. Just to say Tony (username Barney Rubble on here) came and removed everything for us (plus some other bits and pieces as there was room on the van) and we would highly recommend. Tony and his guys were polite and friendly, reasonably priced and did a great job. His mobile is 07541132087.
  8. We have had a bit of a cull of the small trees in our garden and we need the resulting branches removed as we aren't able to bag up and take to the tip the volume we have. We also need two large stumps removed. I've attached pictures of the two piles of branches and one of an example of the stumps to remove- hopefully by being dug out (they are both similar in size). There are also 8 sacks of cutting we have bagged up. We are located at the Sydenham end of Beckenham and would like this done asap. Thanks.
  9. Can anyone suggest someone to remove my shellac and re-do for a reasonable price, tomorrow if possible? Living in Sydenham (recently moved and not familiar with area yet) but could come to Dulwich.
  10. Just to say we had a great experience with KFH Dulwich and Alaistair and Dominic were great. We had tried to sell through Acorn who initially had seemed the most keen at valuation, but by 4 months later we had two sales fall through because they clearly hadn't checked out the buyers ability to pay. KFH remarketed the house for us and got us an offer at full asking price within 2 days. They then were very supportive when our buyers were being difficult and the sale did then go through very smoothly. We've since bought through the Beckenham KFH branch and all went very smoothly there too.
  11. Hello, We are off on holiday 7-17th Aug and need someone to come and feed our cat and let him out each morning and then let him in and feed him again at night plus making sure he is ok, has water and change of litter tray as necessary etc. Does anyone have a recommendation- we are in ED. Thanks!
  12. We took our then 4 year old twins with us to Browns hotel where they were very child friendly including making some extra ham sandwiches with no butter for my fussy eaters! Sure there was at least one party with a baby there too. Delicious cream teas too! Salivating now just thinking of it!
  13. Just sold with KFH who were great. Had an offer on our house for the asking price in 2 days after bein on the market for 4 months with Acorn during which 2 sales at that price fell through. 1% plus VAT. Alastair and Dominic have been great.
  14. Hi, looking for recommended babysitter tomorrow evening (Sun 17th March) for our 5 year old twins. 6.30pm to 10.30pm which includes getting them to bed. We live in ED- happy to give a life home afterwards. Thanks, Sandra
  15. Hi, I am looking for a couple of men/women who have a van and some strength for a small moving job from E.Dulwich to Elmers End. Please respond/PM me with a quote and, or contact details if you are looking for a bit of work. Please also feel free to let me know if you have a recommendation for someone I can contact. The job involves moving around five items of furniture down from an upstairs flat (largest is a triple wardrobe) and many boxes of books (15 or so), then driving to Elmers End and helping unload. Precise date and time to be confirmed/agreed, but the move will be within a week or so. Thanks in advance.
  16. Hi, I'm marathon training and my legs especially are feeling pretty sore and tired. I was wondering it anyone could recommend for specifically a sports massage? Thanks, Sandra
  17. My children's school have suggested my son (in year 1) takes part in this scheme to improve his reading. We are happy to do anything to help him so have agreed, but I wondered if anyone has any experience of the programme (it was apparently devised by a woman called Mary Charlton) that they could share? Thanks, Sandra
  18. I have 5 year old twins and have allowed all their old clothes to just pile up over the years. Having completed our family I have sorted out the clothes I want to pass on to my younger sister. There are 7 ikea bags worth. I'm exhausted already and so would like to find someone who will wash, iron and fold. I'd also like them sorted by age and gender (I've made a start on that.) Is there anyone who would offer this sort of service? Thanks, Sandra
  19. Not sure if it's too late, but is this the one?? If it is it can be yours as we are missing the beast bit and belle!
  20. We had a nightmare where dressing was used for controlling the parents. Even, before our son was expected to dress himself it was a battle for us to be allowed to dress him. In the end when our twins were four and a half we used a wind-up kitchen timer the children could work themselves. The children had to be dressed before the bell sounded. We started allowing at least 15 minutes and then got quicker and quicker as they got better. After a few weeks we didn't need it any more and getting dressed just became routine. Good luck!
  21. Hi, our wedding photographer turned out to be a bit of a nightmare (nobody local). As a result we have plenty of wedding pictures of variable quality, all digital. We don't want to go back to the photographer so we need some help editing/cropping them and arranging them into a photobook. Can anyone recommend anyone who could help? Thanks, Sandra
  22. Found these when clearing out my mum's house. Can anyone tell me anything about them please? Thanks, Sandra
