Bartolozzi R.A Historical Engraver to His Majesty' 'Published as the act directs Nov r 10 1793 by I. Chamberlain' Size: Height 43 cms Width 35 cms Beautifully rendered portrait. Discolouration through the image at the top A feint blue crown stamp visible at bottom left. In really lovely, characterful, original Victorian wood frame. Black detailed moulding with gold detail. Some dents and nicks in frame but pretty good condition for age and all part of it's character. Pinned wood backing. Collect from Camberwell, London SE5 -
Antique Victorian Woolwork Needlepoint Tapestry of "Moses in the Bullrushes" £60 A large, antique, Berlin type woolwork embroidery panel with a religious scene of Moses in the Bulrushes which shows the finding of Moses by the Pharaoh's daughter. It is also known by the titles: The Finding of Moses, or Moses Saved from the Waters. It was a popular art subject matter. The Egyptian princess and her attendants are seated and standing by a river around the baby Moses. Classical buildings appear in the distance with a sphinx garden statue on a pedestal by the princess to reference Egypt. Created circa 1850 Height 100 cms (39.5 inches) Width 87 cms (34 inches) Tapestry on wooden frame support. Some of the wool has worn away in places (see photos) could be restored or accepted as part of its age and history. Can be collected from Camberwell, London SE5 -

Does your child love art? Art Classes for Children aged 7 years and up. Based at St Clement and St Peter's Church Hall off Barry Road, The Art Club provides classes every Wednesday 4-5pm during term time. Taught by professional artist and Dulwich Picture Gallery teacher for 17 years Sally Cutler. We explore different mediums and techniques and discover about artists and how they worked too. Expect to try different art forms such as printmaking, painting, sculpture, drawing, clay work, collage etc. Fun and friendly classes for children who love art.
