  1. Thanks to everyone who responded- after another sleepless night up in agony I will book in to see the chiropractors on Crystal palace road. Even if it brings some relief in the last couple of weeks it'll be worth it! Thanks again x
  2. Hi all, wondering if someone can help me. I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my second child and as with my first pregnancy I am now really struggling with pelvic girdle pain, this time I've had it since about 16 weeks and am now at the point where I can barely walk (tricky as my first child is 2 and a half). I have seen a physio through the nhs who did nothing but give me crutches and advise I do as little as possible, not very realistic as I have my son to look after. My midwife was less the sympathetic and I've been left feeling like I'm being a big baby. I've had a number of nasty sports injuries (from years as a gymnast) and think I've got a relatively high pain threshold and I'm in absolute agony! Just wondering if anyone out there has any thing they could recommend, perhaps a chiropractor they've used or anything they found to ease to pain (aside from painkillers which I've not found particularly effective) as I am now at my wits end!
  3. P.S If anyone else in the forum wants to put their 2 pence worth it- it would be appreciated!
  4. Not in my experience- it must not be in the chassis properly- sorry can't be more help
  5. Thank you for your advice so far!
  6. There should be a white slot on the seat rest at the back of the seat. You need to put your hands in their, push it up and recline. Check It's the newer version but the same principle.
  7. Hi there Want to get some advice about finding a Nanny for our children. We are looking for someone to look after our sons who will be 2 3/4 and a couple of months old (so a small baby). I have been looking for the right person and am finding the world of Nanny searching daunting. Does anyone out there have any recommendations of agencies/forums they have used or know any Nannys that they would recommend? I need some advice on where to look and how much other parents pay on average for a full time nanny. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Ellena
  8. After an exhausting 1st birthday party I am on the hunt for somewhere to hire for my son's second birthday party. I am looking for suggestions in the Brockley, Honor Oak, East Dulwich area of somewhere that could cater for a party for little ones. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations? Thanks
  9. Thanks for these messages, I only just checked back. I will check these places out. Thank you very much for your supportive information
  10. Thank you! So helpful, I'm really grateful. I will check it out.
  11. Hi there Just wondering if I can reach out to parents of children with disabilities to see if there are any support groups or clubs that I can go to or join with my 16 month old. He has been diagnosed with a type of muscle disease (we don't know how serious yet) and I am feeling a bit isolated at the moment. I do take him to other parent and baby groups and absolutely don't want to stop that but am yearning for the support a group with parents in similar positions could bring. I have joined Contact a Family already but am yet to hear anything from them. Does anyone else know of anything going on in SE London? Thanks
