  1. I highly recommen Sean O Neill.07565262658 Sean couldn't have worked harder and took on not just a lot of decorating but repairing garden walls, clearing a drain, cleaning my carpets. He is able to do all odd jobs and doesn't mind being given an assortmen,. He's a really nice bloke, incredibly helpful. He charges a very reasonable able day rate rather than pricing each small job and fitted so much into each day. I ended up booking him for 5 days because he was so incredibly useful and good at everything. Thank you Sean! You are a star!
  2. Got Aria's number here and can vouch he deserves his great reviews. He came same day I called, fitting me in in the evening, was prompt, very knowledgeable and thorough, incredibly helpful going to much trouble to sort a tricky job and offering good advice. A really genuine, nice bloke and propper plumber who really knows his trade.
  3. Rang Aaron yesterday having seen recommendations here. I had loads of garden rubbish gone within an hour. He's clearly genuine, does it by weight. Very nice bloke,I would definitely recommend him and use him again.
  4. Can anyone recommend a local window or door company? I want to replace a wooden glazed garden door and two side windows with either specially made wooden double glazed door or good quality uvpc. Thank you.
  5. James from SOSremovals made collecting a chest of drawers I'd boughtfrom the Forum so easy. He replied straight away at 8pm in evening, collected the next day bang on time, brought his son to help and carried the new drawers upstairs and the old ones down. I didnt need a van, he was happy to offer his large 7 seat car at a very reasonable rate instead. They do large or small jobs, I'd definitely recommend and use them again.
  6. We are thrilled that today Tinker found his way home!! He has been missing since August 8th, and we had all but lost hope. I had had to rehome him due to moving but he escaped before he had settled into his new home and got lost. We think he may have been trapped in a leaky shed as he was clean but thin and unharmed.Thank you if you looked out for him.
  7. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced firm that make and fit fire doors ( ideally Victorian 4 panel looking) with seals /closers if necessary? My original doors not regular sizes.
  8. I'd like to recommend Alan Ade and his son Yemi,of AA electrical contractors. They are reliable, registered and experienced, both very nice people and above all very reasonably priced. They have just fitted a new fuse box and replaced hallogens with LED's, wiring in to mains throughout my 3 bed flat. Excellent work /great attitude. I found them on my builder. com. Alan offered by far the most reasonable quote and gave his price up front. I wanted to review them on here as they cover the area and deserve to be known here. I've used other electricians recommended on EDF, all fine, but i felt Alan was much more competitively priced, as well as being a very decent guy.Alan 07956347334
  9. http://imgur.com/gallery/7T3MZ74 Please check your shed, or if you have taken him in please let us know! We are desperately worried about him as he has been missing since August 8th.Camberwell / Peckham borders Thank you.
  10. http://imgur.com/gallery/7T3MZ74 I had such trouble attaching photos, i coukd only add the facebook image of the cat i THOUGHT was Tinker! I had totally superimposed my cat on him, notice only Tinker's front paws are white
  11. I am so sorry if you are worried about your missing cat but I have just called the London Animal Hospital and it isn't Tinker, thank God. Any reports of Tinker gratefully received. He must be in the Peckham or Camberwell area, he maybe trying to find his way back to Eastlake Rd.Still can't seem to attach poster or more photos
  12. Tinker, a tabby with white bib and socks, pink nose and paw pads, has been missing since Wednesday 8th August. He was adjusting to being re homed and escaped. Appeals on Facebook and this response attached with mist recent pic of him, but sadly he was scared and ran off.Really terrified he might be the cat mentioned below and hoping against hope not. Any news please call Neila 07541701351 or Jo 07947881887 Thank you
  13. I have halogen lights on transformers and they always blow. I want to put in led lights wired to system as they last much longer. Can anyone recommend a reliable reasonably priced electrician?
  14. I have cream pure wool carpets that are old and stained here and there, but essentially really good quality carpet. I am going to rent my property and don't want the hassle and expense of re - carpeting, can anyone recommend a good carpet cleaner or firm ? Does cleaning actually get out most stains?
