  1. It would be really helpful if you have used South London Lofts and can let me know how you got on? If you don't want to leave public feedback, please feel free to PM me. There's a lot of conflicting reviews of them on the internet so it's really hard to know what's true and what isn't...any thoughts on their service gratefully received.
  2. Crafty Fox Market, the destination for creative shoppers, is heading back to Peckham! When: Sat 10 & Sun 11 October, 11am - 5pm Where: CLF Art Cafe, The Bussey Building, 133 Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15 4ST Entry: FREE Crafty Fox has worked with guest curator Leona Thrift-ola of the Lucky Dip Club to pick out of over 100 designers, crafters and makers who will be selling their wares throughout the weekend. These UK independent makers will be offering an inviting mix of homeware, jewellery, prints and more. The market also includes an Uncovered selection introducing new design talent, along with an inspiring schedule of workshops for anyone to try out. Activities include: sketchbook making, doodle on a poodle with Garudio Studiage and a Craftivist workshop. You can also get a haircut or beard trim in the Rhythm Parlour pop-up barber shop (Sat) or get your portrait done in just 5 minutes by Viktorija from AndSmile. Crafty Fox Markets: Meet the Makers When: Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 April 2015, 11am - 5pm Venue: CLF Art Caf?, in the Bussey Building, 133 Rye Lane, Peckham, SE15 4ST Featuring: 100 unique, carefully selected stalls (50+ per day), plus creative workshops, live art, DJs and drinks. Look out for handmade jewellery by Oh My Clumsy Heart, Kangan Arora's colourful textiles, quirky ceramics by Laura Bird and screen-prints from Ginger Line Designs. On the 2nd floor, find 'Crafty Fox Uncovered' - an area showcasing those new to market trading. There are 50+ different traders taking part each day. In the courtyard, artists Cecily Vessey and Georgia Bosson will be working on a large scale mural depicting Peckham's skyline. Prints will be on sale with a donation from each going to support the work of Peckham Vision. Haircuts and beard trims by The Rhythm Parlour will be on offer on Saturday as well as a letterpress workshops by Prickle Press. Emma Nicol will be there all weekend offering amazing stitched portraits. On Sunday, bring the kids along to Alice Tam's 'Birds in Hats' drawing and colouring workshop - free of charge with prizes for the best creations. The bar will be serving up drinks, while DJs spin an eclectic mix of tunes. Entry is FREE and the doors open at 11am. Look out for handmade jewellery by Tomoko Hori, Ketchup on Everything's animal alphabet, quirky ceramics from Kim-Anh Chiem and prints by Jimbobart. Guest curator, Supermarket Sarah will be setting up a wonder-wall, showcasing her top picks from the markets and there will be live art in the courtyard by Sophie Stephens. The bar will be serving up festive drinks, while DJs spin an eclectic mix of tunes. Guests can also make paper decorations with the team from Betty and Walter, learn block-printing with Nancy Straughan, make a bunting necklace with Lucie-Ellen and get creative with Afro-Retro. Entry is FREE and children are welcome.   6. We just had ours fitted by Mr Worktops - they operate from a railway arch in Loughborough Junction. I found them really good to deal with and very helpful.
