It's a closed group so people can't see posts but they can see who are members and that the group exists. I could make it a private group but then only members can see it so people can't just ask to join. I can change the name though - I will change the group name to 'Winter Club 2012/2013' that way you dont have to give anything away. Hope this helps Tess x

Anyone can see the group but only Members can see the posts so it's all private. I'll send an email to those who swapped details on the first meet ups for those who no longer check the forum. Hello Everyone, Nice to see some of you last night. Sorry to have missed others as well. Hope that everyone is doing well? As some of you are likely to be having your babies soon we talked about having the next meet up on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon so that the babies can come along as well. Not sure that we'll be able to get this in before Christmas so thought we could move this into the new year. Maybe have a meet up in early Jan? I'll also try to set-up a facebook group for us so we can all swap baby photos easily as and when. Also it will probably help us to put names to faces etc. I'll send round the details when it's ready. All the best Tess x

Hello Ladies, Hope everyone is doing well? It was nice to see some of you the other week and to see some new faces. I know that some of you are only a few weeks away so I thought it would be good to try to have one more meet up during the week before making this into a weekend/lunch time group. I'll speak to Dan at the Exhibition to see if he can reserve us an area on Wednesday, 28th November. I'll also see if he'll do us the same deal of free soft drinks from the pumps or juices (not bottles) for the pregnant ladies. I might ask for the area from 7pm so it's not such a late night for people - how does that sound? Feel free to bring partners along as well. Tess x

Hi Laura, Welcome to the group. We're meeting again for drinks on 7th November so hope you can join us. We'll be at the Great Exhibition in East Dulwich. I'm due on 26th Jan and booked NCT classes this week. They're just off East Dulwich Grove and start in Jan, think my group will be ladies due in early feb more than end of Jan so might see you on that one ;-) I left it a bit late to book for my week but you should still be ok. Thanks Greeners, I was thinking about trying the King's class this Saturday. Do I need to book in advance or can I just turn up? My sister swears that yoga helped her to have a quick labour (if you can call 10 hours quick). Catch up tonight

Also If anyone was thinking about going to the antenatal yoga classes at the Leisure Centre then just to let you know that they've stopped doing them. They haven't updated the timetable on their website yet but I wasted a trip this morning.

Thanks for this Cams, I may well give it a try. I am actually going to my first class tomorrow. It's at East Dulwich Leisure Centre and only about ?7.80 a class (I think that ?12 is about average). The only snag is that it's on Wednesday mornings. I won't be able to go to them every week but I am being super cheeky and going to do this in working hours. Did you know that pregnancy yoga counts as part of your 'Antenatal care' as it includes relaxation classes and midwifes recommend you do it? It means that legally you're allowed to go in working hours and not have to make the time back. A colleague of mine was doing this so I thought that I might as well do it as well! Catch up tomorrow if you're out for mocktails!

It's so different for everyone so it's hard to know what is 'normal' and not. BH do not sound fun though. Sonners - I have my 20 week scen the following Monday so we're not far off each other! We found out we're having a little girl at 13 weeks. Good luck with the scan. Looking forward to meeting you all

Hi Sally, They look like letters rather than being in the pack. I still have my copy and can scan you a copy if you want to give me your email address? They give you options for times and days you'd prefer. Then you send off the slips and they write back to say which ones they've been able to allocate to you. You could send your options on a scrap of paper and I'm sure that would be ok. Tess x
