The Fire Brigade website says: Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters and officers have been attending a fire in a building on Havelock Walk in Forest Hill. The building contains workshops with flats above and the fire was in one of the flats. Around a quarter of the first floor was damaged by the fire. Firefighters were called at 1708 and the fire was under control by 1921. Crews from Forest Hill, West Norwood, Downham, Lewisham, Peckham and Norbury were at the scene. The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.

Hi all, Just booked a space at the EDT for 7:30 on Saturday (the 16th) - hope to see you all there! The table is booked for Laura, which is me. Was going to go to the Great Exhibition but they don't take bookings for fewer than 20, so hope everyone is ok with returning to the EDT!

Ok well I think I'm going to stick with the 16th as the date as otherwise I won't be able to arrange anything until March - I will book an area somewhere so it would be great if those interested can either let me know here or by pm so I've got an indication of numbers. Everyone welcome of course!

Agreed, excellent work Sarah! I seem to remember agreeing to organise the next one in some sort of weird triple pinky swear, so I will try my best not to break that promise!
