  1. Yesterday at 3:15 in the afternoon, I was walking down Lordship Lane with my mum, my pregnant sister and carrying my daughter in my arms. We had just had lunch at GBK and were walking home down lordship lane. We got to corner of Whateley road when two guys on a motor bike dressed in black and wearing helmets stopped, the one at the back got off, ran up to my mum and pulled the gold necklace she was wearing off her. In reflex my mum fought back and while I was trying to stop her, she was pushed to the ground. They then sped off and we were left shouting for help. A big thank you to everyone who came to help, called the police and also tried to chase and to Bells who are sharing cctv footage. Please watch out for unmarked motorcycle bikes in the area, according to the police, there have been a number of instances of phone snatching (not many of jewellery) in the area recently. This incident was in broad daylight, right next to where the police station used to be (now a school).
  2. Really didn't mean to offend HoT supporters! But honestly thought getting the drink changed wouldn't be a big deal. Ah, maybe I am a drama queen! Great to see so much support for the place tho, maybe I will try again (when it's not fly season!)
  3. Always wanted to go to house of tippler since I recently moved to the area but was disappointed with service when I finally went. My drink was VERY unhappily changed after a fly flew in it and it was suggested to me that it's fine to drink it after pulling the insect out - could not believe I was being told that, thought a place like this would have higher hygiene standards. Safe to say I won't be going back there. It's a shame as seemed like a decent place, but shocking attitude from staff.
  4. Hi, I've also found something called little bubbles which has classes on a Friday morning - www.littlebubbles.com. I haven't been yet as am new to the area but am hoping to go for a trial class this week. Cheeky c's is closed for half term (happened to call them today!) and going to try bea's baby bop soon too!
  5. Hi, I've just had it done and wouldmrecommendnit. My hair is generally frizzy and wavy and bb has made it much calmer. I still usea straightener if I want it to look really neat but don't have to. My hairdresser friend who is on maternity leave and free lancing came home and did it for me, she brought her little girl (1 yr old) who played with my 1 yr old! I have shoulder length hair and she charged about ?50. Let me know if anyone wants contact details!
