Cleaners are generally paid ?9-10 per hour. To offer minimum wage for this job is outrageous. And an insult.

I have MS and am in a wheelchair. I have been unwell and my hair needs washing and blow drying. My hair has to be washed sitting down-I hold a basin and a jug is poured over my hair. I would like this to be done in next few days if possible. I live in Upper Norwood-off Beaulah Hill. Thanks.

I am in a relationship with a man who is verbally abusing me. He will not accept this and says I am the one causing trouble. My situation is particularly difficult as I have MS and am housebound. I just wondered if there is any way I can record what is happening. My phone is very old and does not have a record function. Any ideas gratefully received. Thanks.

I need someone to take a table,large fan and medium size box with unmade up small chest of drawers from downstairs to upstairs. Would probably take about 30 minutes. Thank yu so much Pugwash for all the information. I have no savings so live in care is not an option. Also as I can't stand easily I need 2 people each care visit so would be unable to afford private care on top of 3 visits. I have spent some time in the British Home which is a well run home so would probably choose to go there f I am unable to find another home. Additonaly they have vacancies. I am still hoping to improve though and remain positive! Thank you once again for all your help.

Hi Pugwash I am 59. At the moment I have 3 care visits a day. I have had MS for 34 years and can just about manage but would be looking for residential/nursing car e. Would have to sell my house to finance this care.

Thanks Mands I have contacted them and they were a bit useless! I have spent some time in the British Home near Crown Point and it was great there but am just looking for other options before making my final decision. Thanks for your help though x

I just fancied a latte or cappucino and toastie/butty or something yummy from Green and Browns. Hence my rather odd request! I had no responses so never mind. It is always worth a try! Alison

Hi I have had MS for 34 years and am currently having a really bad time. I cannot stand up and need a phsio who is experienced with MS patients. I use a wheelchair all the time but need to see if it is possible to strengthen my legs so I can walk a few steps and stand. 4 weeks in hospital in July has left me very weak. Thanks Alison
