Has anyone else seen a pheasant in the local area recently? Just spotted a beautiful one near Ruskin Park, and clearly heard one in Beckenham Place Park last weekend. I've never seen one in London before. Guessing they are easy prey to foxes so doubt it will last long.

Hi - I need someone to dig out to 100mm my dirt driveway (no concrete to remove or anything, currently just dirt covered in weed supressing membrane). Backfill with hardcore base and top with gravel. Maybe honeycomb matting as well, I'm not sure it needs it - will take advice. Small retaining wall of 1 brick has been put in place on concrete footing but needs setting in place / brick laying - this is to keep flower beds free from gravel and won't be driven over by cars etc. Please let me know if you'd like to quote. Hi. I need a carpenter to work with my glazier who is refurbishing my stained glass in my 1930s porch windows and door. He will remove the glass and fit laminate security glass before replacing the refreshed panels. I need someone to cut out the wooden frames sufficiently to insert the laminated glass. Front door also needs re-hanging at the same time as it needs to be moved forward 4mm. Please get in touch if you are interested. Hi. We are looking for a quality builder to gravel our driveway. We need it done properly, with a compacted hardcore base, matting to keep gravel in place etc. We would like it done in March / April if possible. Also a one brick retaining wall around the flower beds has been half completed and needs finishing off as part of the same job. We live in a 1930s house with all original front door, door frame and leaded lights. They are not in too bad condition but they are tired looking and I want them to look beautiful and smart. I would also like to increase the insulation by getting the glass encapsulated in new timber frame double glazed units, putting insulation board on the inside walls and re-plastering, and of course renovating the door itself with a new paint job, filling in old lock holes and smart new door furniture. Has anyone done this locally and could you recommend someone who might take on the job? I think we are maybe looking at more than one trades person. My main focus is the front door itself and the leaded lights. Any suggestions? Many thanks. Jo

Another good recommendation for Lee. He came out within 30 mins and gave me some good advice for fixing my three plumbing problems - the advice was free and we're trying out the cheap solutions before investigating further and incurring cost. I will use Lee if we can't fix the problems ourselves. Great experience.
