Yes, the night service consultation does not apply to these services as it is to do with main line services on the route to Brighton, so it is important to respond to this consultation as it stands. These trains the 2301 and 2334 London Bridge - Crystal Palace via East Dulwich will not run and will not be replaced.

The details suggests the trains services from London Bridge will be cut by half after 2200 hours and all trains after 2314 withdrawn altogether. The Thameslink / Southeastern service is being revised from Bank Holiday Monday in August as the latest piece in the London Bridge story - but it means the extra services that Southeastern ran into Blackfriars from Denmark Hill will cease. Of interest London Overground services on the East London Line were improved in the late evenings and weekends from last Sunday (15th) so that trains run every 15 minutes on the route via Peckham Rye until around 2330 instead of every 30 minutes after 2200. One caveat there is still a 30 minute gap to / from Clapham Junction as one train in the 15 minute cycle goes to and from Battersea Park to fulfill a 'Parliamentary train' requirement - still serves all the other stations though and their connections to and from Clapham Junction at Battersea Park. The diversions of the 249 and 450 are particularly onerous and will affect the ability to shop in Crystal Palace. CPTT tried to persuade TfL to do something less disruptive but they have declined. If you are unhappy about these changes or find that your journey is particularly badly affected please contact TfL on the link below and if enough people complain may be they will change their minds.

A new scheme has been set up to allow disabled rail passengers to 'turn up and go' rather than having to pre-book assistance http://www.disabledpersons-railcard.co.uk/news-features/london_turn_up__go_trial . It is a trial and allows travel from East Dulwich to West Norwood. It supplements the existing permanent 'turn up and go' arrangements on London Overground and London Underground. However, without usage and feedback the rail operators could withdraw at the end of the trial. Please encourage people to use it so that this doesn't happen.

Only if you have a monthly Travelcard. If it is a point to point season ticket it won't be valid. Best to go for Oyster Pay As You Go or a Travelcard to give you the most flexibility.

Likely to be opened up more after the August blockade

No you don't get charged extra as Clapham High Street / Clapham North is classed as an Out of Station Interchange (OSI). In fact going this route is likely to be cheaper than going by London Bridge National Rail. So Denmark Hill - Moorgate for example is on Oyster PAYG ?4.10 peak and ?3.50 off peak going by National Rail at London Bridge but go via Clapham High Street / Clapham North it is ?2.80 peak and ?2.20 off peak. So if you currently do East Dulwich to somewhere in the City might be worth going to Denmark Hill instead

Another option would be to take the Overground from Denmark Hill to Clapham High Street (1 stop 5 mins) and then get the Northern Line from Clapham North.

London Bridge (Southern) station is closed for nine days from Saturday 23rd to Sunday 31st August 2014. Trains from East Dulwich will start and finish at South Bermondsey during this period. This will be very disruptive to people travelling to the City and Canary Wharf. Suggest anybody not on holiday that week goes to www.tfl.gov.uk and replans their journey.

The number 40 bus goes direct from East Dulwich to London Bridge. Also worth getting the East London Line from Denmark Hill or Brockley to Canada Water for Canary Wharf (there'll be extra services from Brockley). The 42 bus from Sunray Avenue is also a good link to City Hall, Tower Hill, Aldgate and Liverpool Street.

The Dover service from Denmark Hill is off-peak but also runs in the evening as well

The more people tell the DfT that a later / Sunday service on this route is required the better. Also enlist the support of people from places east of Peckham Rye if you can.

I think you mean West Brompton rather than Brompton Road. Brompton Road station was on the Piccadilly Line between South Kensington and Knightsbridge and was closed in the 1930s. The station is still there with 1930'S paraphernalia extant, but getting off and on there might be a problem.....
