  1. Classic Automobiles 79-81 Morland Rd Croydon 020 8656 4636 Family run used car dealers, great to deal with and very honest. They don't do the hard sell and happy for you to have keys and take your time to look around cars.
  2. Bespoke Windows are very good and local....Just stay away from Dulwich Windows aka Jayson Webb, previous posts regarding this company are listed on the forum. If you do a search for Bespoke windows there are a number of legit posts
  3. Depending on ability there are a couple of clubs/teams. One in Peckham Pride and a more successful one (Lewisham Thunder - www.lewisham-thunder.org) based at Forest Hill Boys although they now use Harris Beckenham and their own facility next to Millwall. Both clubs have teams in the National League (play all over the country) so the standard is quite high.
  4. Quote 'I wouldn't usually comment on these sort of threads on the forum, but i was just searching for Jason/Duwlich Windows number and I was surprised to read all the comments so i thought i should provide my honest feedback' Really come on now....you were so happy with the work he provided that you thought you look him up on the forum. I'm suprised he had time to do your windows in the summer of 2012, maybe he did such a great job using the money of the people he scammed. I'm glad you were so happy you posted a comment over a year after completion.
  5. Glad to hear you managed to get it resolved. What happened to her deposit in the end?
  6. I would also recommend Plusnet (which is actually owned by BT but they leave them alone to run the company). They are UK based and if you have any issues easy to contact (call centre in Yorkshire). Prices and service are probably the best in the country considering they don't outsource there services.
  7. stay away from Dulwich Windows aka Jayson webb. Bespoke Windows are good
  8. Does anyone have anymore info regarding this company or individual they are willing to share (you can PM me in confidence).
  9. Anymore info regarding this company would be appreciated. If you don't want to identify yourself then just PM me. Thanks
  10. Sometimes you need people to stick their necks out and 'not mind their business'. The area might be a better place for it - Thank you Sue
  11. Unfortunately life coaching isn't going to pay for the damage to my house. I used this forum (like you do) to find an honest and competent company. I take responsibility for what I ended up with but if I can stop one person from going through what we have been through then its all been worth it. Tillie Trotter - I'm glad you find it all hilarious. We used all our savings to get these windows fitted and while Jayson Webb holidayed (with our money), we were left with poorly fitted windows and damage to our house. Despite Jayson Webb's promises to fix nothing happened. We hoped that having windows fitted would save us some money in the long term so thought it was a good investment. So TilleTrotter as you read this while probably sipping your third glass of wine spare a thought for those vulnerable people this company has ripped off.
  12. Well after a long rest I'm back on the forum. I'm disappointed to to see that all this nonsense with Dulwich Windows t/a JWJ Ltd, Jayson Webb is still going on. Just for the record I have never worked for or have had any personal dealings with this company or person. I was a customer who had some windows replaced to an extremely poor standard - I have now received a quote to repair the damage - ?4,800.00. Do not deal with this company. If you are curious then simply do a Director search on Google for Jayson Webb - all the information you need is there about all the companies he has owned.
  13. Bespoke Windows, Seninic Windows all have good recommendations on the forum. Just stay away from Dulwich Windows t/a JWJ Ltd aka Jayson Webb
  14. Just found out there is nothing to stop these companies re-applying for membership to companies like FENSA (under a new name).Even though FENSA are aware what these companies are doing they are powerless to not accept their membership. Although FENSA website talks about a Insurance Backed Guarantee scheme, it does not actually offer anything to the home owner but instead encourages the installer to take up an Insurance backed scheme. Basically its all a bunch of B.S. So if you have an installer you are prepared to use, other than the normal stuff, References etc, I would also ask for a copy of their Insurance. So in reference to the above question 'What would FENSA do if my windows failed'. The short answer is NOTHING. They are powerless to force the installer to make good the work.
  15. Latest update they have relocated to 338 Lordship Lane, Dulwich, London, SE22 8LZ under the name Dulwich Windows, Trading as JWJ Ltd. This is Jayson Webb's 5th company in as many years with all the other companies following the same route as the 4th.
  16. Please stay away from Dulwich Windows trading as JWJ Ltd aka Jayson Webb, (they were originally Dulwich Windows Ltd but have just shut down). They have been using the forum to get business. They have relocated from Sutton to 338 Lordship Lane although I suspect this is just someone allowing them to use their office address. Paul from Scenic Windows has a very good reputation as does Bespoke Windows, both of which are mentioned on the forum along with contact info.
  17. Latest update on Dulwich Windows Ltd. Please residents of East Dulwich or anywhere else DO NOT USE this company. Dulwich Windows is now trading under JWJ Ltd. The info below was retrieved from Companies House - basically means company is being shut down. DULWICH WINDOWS LTD No:07892253 Status: Active - Proposal to Strike off
  18. We agree DaisyLets are quite good, had a few issues during the time they have managed our property but all in all they are a good local honest company, and we would have no issues recommending them.
  19. Dulwich Windows Ltd aka Jayson Webb is now operating as JWJ Ltd trading as Dulwich Windows. See below activity listed with Companies House: Make up your own minds what is going on! 15 Jan 2013 First Dissolution (Gazette) 07 Jan 2013 Voluntary Dissolution Requested 04 Nov 2012 Change of Officers 25 Jul 2012 Change in Registration Office 28 Mar 2012 Change in Registration Office
  20. Their business membership to FENSA has been suspended as of 7th February for Non Compliance. If they conduct any work saying they have membership to FENSA or have any signs up with the FENSA logo it is illegal.
  21. No I don't work for Bespoke, the only reason I mention them is that he is using their name to get work. I know more about Window companies in the area than I care to thanks to Dulwich Windows. I am not only out of pocket by thousands but also have damage to my property that I'm not sure we can afford to fix. If you look at some of my previous posts I have recommended other companies.
  22. Jayson Webb used to work for Bespoke Windows and left on bad terms with the company. He has since set up his own company called Dulwich Windows (actually in Surrey). They have been getting work from East Dulwich forum members despite their poor reputation. They are registered with FENSA (which is worthless) especially as he doesn't register his jobs with them. Even more worrying he offers his own company backed 10 Year Guarantee - which is also worthless. If you are in doubt about who this person is and the dangerous and poor work they carry out I suggest you either contact BESPOKE WINDOWS for a reference or take your chances and have him work on your property. The authorities are aware of him and I would encourage anyone who isn't happy with the work to contact their local council and FENSA (who are in the process of suspending his membership).
