Hi, I'm looking for someone to walk our two dogs in the Goose Green area. It would only be once a week every Monday, late afternoon / early evening. Thanks Julie

Music by the Green is now on Facebook - see details and who's going - ?https://emea01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fevents%2F203607010139399&data=01%7C01%7Cjulie.whitney%40kcl.ac.uk%7Cdf93d70734254d75325908d485cc2018%7C8370cf1416f34c16b83c724071654356%7C0&sdata=d7rz2HYiMvBXeXfYmiUhLpI4fwiKGcUYidyetmNNWWs%3D&reserved=0

St. John The Evangelist East Dulwich (the church next to Goose Green) will be holding an afternoon of music. There will also be light refreshments and children's activities. We're joining in with the fun of the Dulwich Festival Fair on Goose Green that day, and hoping lots of people will be able to come and join us. Free entry - all are welcome! ?

Agree with the others that the Elms is the only residential care home in ED and seems to be very well liked by residents and their families. Hill House (the Abbeyfield home in Sydenham) has now closed. Castlebar is still open and has nursing and residential places. There is also Greenhive in Peckham/Nunhead which is a residential care home (and another home from the same company on Sumner road in Peckham). As Pugwash says, there is a shortage of care home places in SE London so if nursing care is also required, this reduces the options available. There are three nursing homes in Southwark borough (Burgess Park in Camberwell, Tower Bridge (on Tower Bridge Road) and Queens Oak in Peckham). Lew Evans house (SE22) provides extra sheltered accommodation but this is not 24 hour care in the sense of a residential home. If you get in touch with social service, they should be able to help determine the level of care required.

There is a black cat - smallish and I think a male hanging around Adys road near St John's church / GG playground. It is very friendly and looks well but last night it looked lost - was following different people for a while and then coming back to stand by the church. He was out again this evening in GG playground and my son shared some (most) of his chicken. He seemed very hungry. He didn't have a collar and could just be a super friendly / greedy cat but if anyone is missing a cat of this description it would be worth going to have a look.

Robboduck sent me a photo of this cat and he looks very much like our cat who went missing near Bellenden Road. I posted about his disappearance the time (ginger and white cat missing in Wingfield Street). It is a long way for him to have travelled but he has had 3 weeks so it could be possible. I have been to Ulverscroft and surrounding streets several times today and unfortunately have not seen the cat. Please could anyone who lives in that area let me know if they spot him or if you live in the area and this is your cat, let me know so I can rule him out of our search. Many thanks
