Hi We're looking for someone to do some filling and repaint our first floor windows. We will be getting scaffolding up for some structural work, so thought we'd seize the moment. Hi Our smoke alarm is bleeping non stop. It is mains wired with a battery back up but the cover simply won't come off so that I can replace the battery. Can anyone recommend a qualified electrician to help with this one asap? Even my determined builder couldn't lever the thing off. Thanks, Susannah

Hi Our communal smoke detector which is mains wired has gone bonkers. The battery support has run out so it is beeping all the time. Thought I was being useless not being able to get the over off, but no it simply will not shift and yes even my builder could not manage it. So prob need a new alarm and someone who knows what they are doing with electricity to sort this one. Please message if you know anyone good who is qualified. Thank you!

Hi I've got a few odd jobs that I need some help with as am useless at DIY! 1) Put in a new cat flap - there is already one in there, it just needs replacing 2) Refix curtain pole fitting - it is screwed into the frame which is splitting, so needs fixing to the wall 3) Put up a pot rack on kitchen wall 4) NOT so crucial as may need an electrician for this one, put up two outdoor lights. If anyone suitable is interested, or knows someone who can, please pm me! Thanks.
