  1. As I mentioned in the other tree thread, ask the guys on Peckham Rye, outside the old William Angel Gallery, near the clock house pub, for an East Dulwich Forum Discount. Tell them you read it here.! I always have one of their trees and they are top quality. Happy Christmas!
  2. Ask for a discount on Christmas tree prices. The guys who sell Christmas trees on my forecourt at the old William Angel Gallery have made a point of offering a discount to anyone who goes down and mentions the East Dulwich Forum. I always get a tree from the guys, (this is their fourth year selling there), and the trees are very good quality.
  3. Sorry if anyone came down before 11am this morning, dad had to go on emergency snow duties, so I was late opening up. Thanks everyone who has been in this weekend again.
  4. Thanks to everyone who came in to see us at the weekend, I was very taken by the number of visitors and the enthusiasm and welcome from local people. I am local myself, but didn't expect quite such a good reception. So many thanks. We are still developing our ideas and the range of work we're showing, in particular, we are looking to produce and sell signed, printed editions of artists' work at much lower prices than originals might sell for, so do keep popping back in and see what we've got from time to time. I'll try to keep the website a bit more up to date too. Thanks again everyone who visited.
  5. My name is John and I am running the William Angel gallery. The William Angel Gallery is a new art space overlooking Peckham Rye. It's the big white-fronted building next door to Roy Brooks estate agents. The building is home to four artists and this weekend (29/30 March) our gallery space has opened showing the work of five local artists. The gallery is free (of course!) and all the work is for sale. The gallery is open fridays 10-5, Saturdays 10-6 and Sundays 10-5 for browsing. The fantastic caf? on the Rye and the Clock House pub, a peruse of Roy Brooks window, the Park and now the Gallery make a stroll around this side of Peckham Rye look like something very appealing. Theres a map and some background information about us at: http://www.williamangel.com Many thanks.
