  1. Yes I had thought about the fact it could be another apartment, but there are so many (8 connecting apartments), that I can't imagine that they would all be prepared to have the treatment. I will certainly give that company a try (thank you cosmonaut and hpsaucy) as I have heard good things about them elsewhere too. It's such a pain and an expensive one too! As for the comment about not making it public, during my research, the incidence of bed bugs has increased dramatically, by 500% over the last 10 years in major cities such as London. Surely by attempting to tackle this very public problem openly is the only way forward?!
  2. I am new (ish) to this area, and a few months ago I had a problem with bed bugs in our rented apartment. After paying a fortune for a professional company to eradicate the problem, I did seem to bug free. But I have started getting bites again, and have found evidence that the dread bugs are back!! I have noticed that there seem to be a lot of mattresses out on the street of the apartment blocks around SE22, and after doing some research on the internet, found that apparently SE22 is a bed bug hot spot! Has anyone else had a problem with this, and do you have any tips on how to avoid future problems?
