Hello, We are currently getting in quotes for a side return extension. So far we have been in touch with Plus Rooms, Build Team and a local builder. Any advice/recommendations welcome. Thank you

Hi, I have been visiting the Neighbourhood vet for years. Feel a bit hesitant about posting and don't want to raise any concerns, but recently, it seems that they are charging a lot more for unnecessary treatments. Has anyone else experienced this? Perhaps it is my imagination! Thanks

Another recommendation for Solid Rock IT. My laptop On/off button came apart. Bobby got the new part and fixed very quickly. I am applying for jobs and taking online exams so it was urgent and such a relief to get it fixed so quickly locally. I would definitely use this company again.

Hello Looking for recommendations for a drain inspector. We have a persistent damp wall. We need to check if our waste drains are perhaps cracked first to rule out any issues before we fix the wall. Just hoping someone in the area could give further information on how this is done, costs or recommendations. Thank you

Has city airport sneaked in a new flight path over SE while everyone was distracted by Heathrow expansion?

Hippo bags, they are fabulous and can lift over walls/parked cars. -
Another recommendation for Floor Sanding and Restoration. David and his two associates have just completed our dining room floor, our stairs and landing. The result is fantastic. Our dining room floors were in a terrible mess. They replaced April half the boards, cut out the old concrete and we can't tell the replacement boards at all, a great match. We will book them again to do our upstairs bedroom.

Carpet Supplier and Fitter - Dulwich Carpet Company
mog1 replied to Stephen Tozer's topic in Reviews
Another recommendation for Stephen Tozer. We had the carpet in our children's bedroom fitted after a loft conversion and it looks wonderful. He found a great carpet for us, that looks like a much more expensive wool brand that we liked, but is easy to clean and great value. Stephens prices were very clear and the choice of carpets was fantastic. -
Thanks Jeremy, good to hear!

Thanks Dave I will give you a call. It doesn't smell of carrots and the earth underneath is damp so I am assuming it is wet rot.

Recently had a radiator fitted and unfortunately the plumber discovered the joists are rotten and the wall damp. Seems to be in just one area close to the outside wall. Has anyone had this problem? Any advice on how to fix would be helpful. Thanks

Another recommendation for Alan at 123 chimney sweeps. Very clean, arrived early. Lovely guy, gave good advice in regards to our chimney pot problem. Will book him again next year.
