  1. Just ordered burito and tacos for takeaway. Got home in 3 mins as living next door. I am feeling very disappointed with the quality of food, stone cold and soggy. Definitely will not be returning. Go for empanadas next door, much cheaper and scrumptious.
  2. Yes it is 20mph and thank you for sticking with the speed limit. I live on this road and it is frustrating to see that maybe 2 drivers out of 10 are following the speed limit on this road, unless they stuck in traffic. The night time is even worse with cars speeding through it. Since the closure of the adjacent roads the traffic and the noise have increased drastically. Where we can't help the traffic, the noise would reduce if drivers stick with 20mph.
  3. Apparently Wagamama is moving into Barclays space on LL, just heard tth naot sure of the actual source. Poundland is - its replacing Foxtons. Its discussed here: /viewtopic.php?t=2286345 Haven't heard anything about Wagamama. Any source for that one?
  4. I am on East Dulwich Grove, received the post Friday and today for the first time in a while, I am still waiting for the parcel sent to me on 31/10.
  5. It's been down for days. I am as well waiting for the parcel sent on 31/10, I am still hopeful it will get delivered eventually.
  6. You require parking permit on all roads along LL now as far as I know, so ensure you park where you can make the payment. Definitely the all roads along East Dulwich Grove and Melbourne Grove require permit Mon - Fri 8am - 6pm
  7. I have been following the situation in Poland and most border points are appealing not to deliver more clothes. They are requesting: sleeping bags, blankets, thermal flasks, power banks, sanitary products, nappies, baby formulas, baby food, travel cots etc. There are as well number of foundations which need cash donations to continue their operations. I saw some posts asking for new underwear (pants, socks).
  8. That's terrible! Especially that it involves a family with a child. Why would anyone do that? My husband was driving via Lordship Lane that night and there was a big group of fans on the roundabout and running around stopping the traffic. I can understand the disturbance to the traffic, but never any kind of violence. They should be ashamed of themselves.
  9. Update: If anyone is looking to move the date sooner, you can do it on the NHS site, just go to manage the booking and pick the new date. So pleased it worked :)
  10. Hello, Has anyone had any luck with getting the 2nd dose of the vaccine sooner that initially scheduled? I had my 1st dose on 11th May and 2nd dose scheduled for 27th July. I really hope I can move the date sooner. My vaccination centre was at Guys at London Bridge. Has anyone had any luck with the date being moved earlier? Any tips how can this be arranged? I called the line, but was only told that if I cancel my current appt it will be only moved forward. Thank you.
  11. I wasn't asked any questions, just as always I showed my passport and came through. I have just read the article mentioned in the other comment and I truly have not heard any similar feedback from anyone I know or even from any FB groups I follow.
  12. I am EU citizen as well and I had no issues when returning to UK. No questions are being asked regarding your settled status. As much as there are no documents being issued to prove the settled status, you can log in to your gov account where it is all confirmed. I believe that the link is included somewhere within the email which was sent as a confirmation of the successful application.
  13. I am under 40 and I was given Pfizer at Guys.
  14. Pfizer 1st dose I had my shot at 8am and felt ok till 3pm. Then I started having a sore arm but bearable. I started getting strong headache which was coming and going and felt very fatigued and tired through all afternoon and evening. Its been 24h since my shot and still feel bit foggy but much much better than last night.
  15. We haven't received our sticker just yet, but I am glad that my garden waste was finally collected :) It seems as they collect it in the afternoons on East Dulwich Grove, where all other waste very early mornings. We must have pulled the bin back too early over the last weeks.
