  1. A brilliant and timely idea, it could tie in well with the project for the station at Peckham Rye. Please keep us informed on how to get involved/support. I am sure it will be very popular with all in South London.
  2. To reply to the query about Peckham Market - I went and it was excellent. In the playground of Harris Academy, very well organised and colourful with music, lots of people and good quality products - from Sardinian cheeses to a plant and flower stall. Worth a visit. Quite expensive, but pleasant Saturday outing.
  3. Hello, I can highly recommend a local, longstanding professional and affable painter and decorator. His name is Charlie Clutterbuck and his mobile number is 07969627053. He is a friend of mine who has also worked for me painting my whole flat and the stairwell to this house (four floors). He has been a decorator for many years and is very thorough, trustworthy and fond of radio 4, tea and biscuits - and over 50 !
  4. The Highbury & Islington to Clapham line opens up brilliant new horizons - no need for a car here in Peckham. Would recommend.
  5. Is Peckham still on the up or has it plateaued ? (Peckham is a nice place to live if you want to stay central)
  6. This is such a brilliant idea - could it be heated in winter like London Fields ? If there is a need for more space there could be a tunnel under East Dulwich Road and make use of the lower end of Peckham Rye itself. Maybe it could be linked to the regeneration of the Station area somehow. This is the best idea for ages !!!
  7. Hello, I might be interested in this role, I am local (Holly Grove, near the station at Rye Lane). I am a well educated and youthful 56, an artist, until two years ago had extensive experience of administration, in arts, charity and central government. I left work as I did not like the culture of the organisation I was in. Since then I have been volunteering at The Soane Museum in central London and have done some admin for them, though mainly I have been a warder and done some work in the shop. If you think I might fit the bill, I can send you my cv and perhaps you would send me your website link. I do quite a bit of photography and had an exhibition in Peckham about a year ago and would therefore find your business interesting. Yours sincerely Georgina Carless
