  1. There are millions of maggots on the pavement / outside our houses on Marmora Road. Anyone else got this? Any ideas why? (not related to the TV ad being filmed right now, I think!)
  2. My cat squashed my bathroom sink plug into the sink hole and it's jammed. I can't get it out myself - it's properly jammed - but it's such a small job I don't want to bother any plumbers with it. Can anyone recommend someone I can ask to help with it? Thanks.
  3. Thanks - went to PC World on the Old Kent Road in the end. Didn't even think of Argos.
  4. DKH Sainsburys don't have them. Any ideas? I have 38% until everything goes black. Thank you in advance.

I hope you took a photo of both incidents.
  6. Seriously though, if I had to take a leak in a public place and then someone TOOK A PHOTO OF ME DOING IT, I'd do a lot more than wave my fanny at them. The nerve. Why don't people mind their own business? There's serious stuff happening in our local community and in the country as a whole. And you're making a massive fuss about someone peeing. PEEING. It's not like they were masturbating in a child's face is it?
  7. Man pees in public. Shocking. Absolutey shocking. Won't someone think of the children, etc.
  8. Oh come on, it's always filthy - the floor is constantly covered in food thrown all over the place by toddlers.
  9. I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but this interactive map which overlays the old with satellite images is brilliant: http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/online-mapping-tool-gives-insight-into-history-of-londons-streets-9168974.html?origin=internalSearch
  10. I like Lordship Lane vets - they've always provided my pets with excellent care.

  12. Still closed, just spent 45 mins trying to escape Devonshire Rd. Apparently reopening later but the speed bumps still aren't in place so not quite convinced.
