I would endorse the positive reviews for Steve Loftus and Back to Wood. The whole process was very straightforward from start to finish: a thorough look at the floors, then a fair estimate, managing to work on the dates we needed, doing a great job and leaving the house much cleaner than we had feared. Highly recommended.

Must also put in a good word for Niko (yes, with a k). We called him out at short notice to fix an urgent problem with a leaking tap. He responded immediately, came out at 10.00 at night (after ringing to check that was still ok) and fixed the problem for less than a lot of plumbers would charge just for call-out. Hi all Likewise, I can thoroughly recommend Mark Longhurst. He recently built a shed for us, knocking through to a former outside toilet to create a very useful storage space. He assessed the job very carefully before submitting his quote, which meant he was prepared for a couple of quirks that other builders had failed to spot.
