Brilliant local personal trainer - David Wilson
thelionqueen replied to Valerie Rowe's topic in Reviews
I just wanted to add my recommendation for David Wilson. I have been training with David for almost 6 months now and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He is always cheerful and friendly and it is good to see him each week. He comes along with a plan that he has devised in advance, which is designed to make me work hard but within my limits. However, if I turn up feeling a bit unwell or tired he changes the plan to suit my energy levels. He also tweaks the work outs when he can see I am not as energetic one week or am feeling good and can do extra. I really enjoy my weekly work outs and feel really good and energised after them. David always makes me feel as though I have worked hard and often right up to my limit but I don't feel drained afterwards. In fact, I feel great and really proud of myself. I am much stronger than I was when I started and this was one of my goals so I am really pleased. David also sends through exercise ideas for me to do during the week and motivates me to do additional work outs. But crucially he doesn't make me feel guilty when I admit I haven't had time to do anything between our sessions! If you are looking for a personal trainer to help you get out, get fitter and stronger all while feeling totally within your own limits, I can highly recommend David. He will help you achieve your goals. Good luck! -
We would like a regular window cleaning service but we don't seem to be able to find anyone who can clean our top floor windows. Our house has two storeys above the ground floor and in particular there is a window at the top at the back that has to be cleaned from our very small back garden as it isn't possible to clean it from the inside because it doesn't open. Please get in contact if you are able to help. Thanks!

French Cafe Bistrot on Forest Hill Road
thelionqueen replied to Mrs Nicklin's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Hi We have been going to the French caf? for breakfast and lunch for a number of years (the new caf? is the same as before just with a better layout)but tonight we went there for dinner for the first time. They have a small menu but there is plenty of choice and because it is a small menu everything is done really well. We had moules mariniere and steak frites. Both were great and the steak was cooked medium rare as ordered (a minor triumph for restaurants around here!!!) I have also had their burger for lunch and that is great too. We also had crepes for dessert these were very yummy and we may just pop out for these as a treat in the future. The atmosphere was really nice, a pleasant hubbub of friends having a good catch up without being loud (imagine the friendly atmosphere of the morning caf? converted into an evening restaurant vibe). It is indeed BYOB at the moment. Even better!! -

We would also recommend Sara-Jane who came to us for a new born photo shoot. Sara-Jane come with lots of props and ideas and took some lovely shots. Having never done a photo shoot before Sara-Jane made us very relaxed and it was a really enjoyable morning. -
