Hiya, honestly most drain companies are that expensive as their equipment is so expensive. Normally they will rectify the issue quite quickly though. I don't think it's fair to charge without solving the issue but horses for courses.

He came in, explained the options to us and fixed the problem in the shower and thoroughly checked his fix. This involved breaking some tiles (which he had warned us about before he arrived) and he recommended a builder to fix that. Overall, very happy and will use him again.

messageExcellent plumber new Posted by Amanda W Yesterday, 08:20PM I called Lee just before Christmas following recommendations on this forum and he came the next day (despite him being very busy on the run-up to Christmas). He installed a new integrated dishwasher and sorted out the heating, (also giving great advice about how to maximise the heating to the radiators). He assessed what still needed to be done in the new year (jobs that were less urgent and could wait) so that he could be prepared when he returns. He was friendly, reliable and explained everything he was doing in a really helpful way. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him and we will definitely be getting him back shortly to do some other jobs.

The price was reasonable too.

It turned out to be a very simple job (which the other plumber had not spotted!!) and we now have fully functioning heating and warm feet. The price was reasonable and we would recommend him.

Hi there I can highly teccomend CGB contractors. They recently fitted a loft extension and subsequently a full refurbishment on the rest of the house and I can honestly say my wife and I are delighted with the results. Our daughters have a beautiful new bedroom The chimney was removed all of the way down the property at no extra cost along with some interior brick walls. We also have had a walk in wardrobe fitted. I wouldn't say there were no stresses as that would be untrue but the quality of work was 1st class. In 3 years time we are planning a 4 metre ground floor extension and I will certainly be using their services again. Charlie 07706 891482

I can highly recommend CGB builders and contractors. 07706 891482 C. Haggerty Our architect was fine to begin with but I wasn't that impressed once the work was u detest. They didn't seem to care once they had been paid. Our party wall surveyor was brilliant though. Can recommend him if you need one.
