Thanks for your post above, I wonder if you have any update for the residents of Solomons Passage, can you provide us with an update from the outcome of your meeting? We are still trying to get a fair deal to be able to stay in the local area, but not getting anywhere fast.

I've said it before and I shall say it again, how this thread is providing me with amusement, we are now hearing that even the big issue man has moved to M&S!

how this thread has provided me with amusement, at one stage, I even spat out my M&S bottled water, I was laughing so much at the craziness of this thread.....

Solomons Passage resident here again, I am pleased that the Councillors continue the discuss the needs of Solomons Passage residents within their cross party meetings, we look forward to hearing their agreed plan of action to support to residents

Solomons Passage resident here. We are currently in a process of negotiation with Wandle over the terms and conditions of our move out before the extensive renovation/ demolition begins.

What that means for all of us is providing us with the opportunity to be able to replace like for like in the local area that we have built our lives, work and call home that we desperately don't want to leave.

This process is not quick and to be honest we are hardly off the starting blocks.

Harriet Harman and her office are supporting us through the process and applying constant pressure to Wandle and their support has been truly fantastic in such challenging times.

Thanks for all of your support everyone, another resident here, we are all still in shock at the upheaval that this is going to cause, there are so many individual stories, so many lives affected.

As you have seen we are all in negotiations with the housing association to see what agreement we can come to.

As if they need it, but the neighbourhood vet has our big sel of approval. We and our lovely little cat Bridget love them.

I see that the council are issuing biodegradable rubbish waste bins for food waste? I think this is a great idea, but I lin a block of flats and done seem to have got them, is it a plan to issue to all?

This is terrible for you and I feel your pain.

I recently had issues with my neighbours upstairs with their toddler jumping on the floor day and night, i had a polite word and that made it worse and he then started hurling abuse at me verbally and threatening physical abuse.

I contacted my housing association, who quite frankly were useless but they gave me a diary to fill in.

Things got better for me when i called the peckham rye neighbour hood team from the police, who i got to go round and read them the law, since then fingers crossed things have improved.

I personally don't see a problem with the pool, I probable use it 4 times a week in the mornings around 7am and i have never had a problem at all.

Mondays i think the water is too hot, but the temperature normally is perfect for me.

i agree the changing rooms are a liitle draughtl, but not worth moaning about.

Hey all I am well up for this, I am not sure about the ustream Otto, but well up for some fine dinning and random chat with y'ocals!

Keef; it wasnt like that I got her number for a witness statement. Yes police were called and were very good.

As for up and cycling again, think it may take me a while to get my confidence back!

I was knocked off my bike on saturday night by a car crossing my path. It happened about 6.15pm on saturday evening on east dulwich grove.

I would just like to say thank you to all of thwe knd people that stopped and helped me. Specially Claire who gave me her Phone number but I must have written it down wrong.

I am ok, stiches in my chin and pretty bruised up, but will live.
