Let's not forget that due to the English Votes for English Laws legislation introduced in 2015, the DUP won't be able to vote on matters which wouldn't affect citizens in NI, the Scottish Tory MPs are next to useless for May (and Scotland for that matter).

A local police officer told me that they won't take dog attacks seriously unless they've hurt a human. I asked him if that meant that the next time my dog gets harassed in the park while the owner stands by and does nothing I should put myself in between them he said yes.

Might be worth getting some cameras. We'be got one on a shelf facing the room and out the front window and another for the windowsill to catch the front door. They were about ?25 each. We only got them to keep an eye on the dog when we're out as we had a stupid neighbour making formal complaints about "constant barking" on days we had all been at home and she was asleep but with all the robberies around here lately I'm so glad we did! -
There has been a suspected terrorist attack at Westminster. One person is dead and at least a dozen are injured. This is just a PSA to say that as King's College Hospital is the closest major trauma centre it has issued a statement requesting peolle avoid attending a&e for anything other than emergencies. I hope fellow residents of ED are safe and unharmed.

For those who would be interested, I have checked with Kanella and they welcome well behaved dogs. I'm going to try it out tomorrow as a pre-nightshift treat.

Dogs being nicked from outside Sainsbury East Dulwich

Nobody "needs" to go to a cafe at all. It's really no different to someone sitting in a cafe reading a book, listening to music, or chatting with friends. To suggest that a dog owner should only take their dog out the house to exercise it is complete nonsense. I have a dog because I enjoy spending my leisure time with her and so I do take her most places I go. She doesn't cause any ill effect on anyone. -
I work on Whitechapel Rd and can imagine the state they were in if there were anywhere near as many pubs as there are now! And I bet nobody even batted an eyelid at the sight (have yet to come across a "Whitechapel Forum" discussing local goings on ;)

Thanks for all suggestions. Luckily I'm a proficient baker so have some kind friends willing to help in return for gooey raspberry brownies :)

That would be perfect, I didn't even think someone would be able to loan me something like that. Would I be able to borrow it this weekend? I will of course provide baked goods in return!

If you were a 25 year old woman of average strength, no car and no wheelbarrow and had to move a normal sized rabbit hutch ~100m down the road, how would you go about it? Is there a business which caters for this sort of thing?
