We've just had our windows refurbed by Sundial and we're really pleased with the results. We were pleased to find someone who could do the whole job, repainting etc, to get it all done instead of dragging on for ages. The guys were very pleasant and the windows look like new. Recommended.

Phone stolen from car wash on Chesterfield Grove
sarahm100 replied to sarahm100's topic in Request a Tradesperson
The guys at the car wash denying taking it Gidget so what can the police do. Just one of those things. I am kicking myself because we got halfway through doing that find my iPhone app last week and didn't set it up properly and if we'd had that it would've tracked the phone - grrr. -
My husband just took the car to be washed and left his phone on the passenger seat by mistake. He went back to retrieve it when he realised, ten minutes later, but it had gone. The police went round there with him but ultimately there is nothing they can do. He has used this car wash for years so it is really disappointing that this happened. The phone was an old iPhone so he doesn't care about replacing it but we've lost some photos and videos of our baby, taken since it was last updated and of course he will be without a phone while he waits for a replacement, which is so inconvenient. Just a warning to avoid this business

Where I was there was no rain at all and absolutely no sound. The flashes were so bright and so frequent I didn't think it was lightning - I've never seen anything like it. I wasn't suggesting aliens but it did feel like the beginning of the War of the Worlds!

Hello, Did anyone else see the wierd lights in the sky in the direction of Crystal Palace last night? Not sure how to describe it but there was something really bright lighting up the sky in flashes for quite a while at around 11pm. We really couldn't work out what it was so wondering if anyone knew?
